I have almost all of them, My favourites are
Maldini Vandijik Koulibaly/Varane Zanneti
Pique, Ramos, Rocha, Alba, Alaba, Kimmich etc are my substitutions.
On my opinion, put K. Manolas with any of the BB CB to make your defense unbreakable. Manolas is damn fast. & another funny thing...My F. Baresi can catch up with Aubameyang in running...😂

Yeah he is faster than Manolas , used both of them but if you have special Joe Gomez use him for he is the fastest in the group. Even Koulibaly is very fast

You can choose 2 CB's of different playstyle. Like if one is extra-frontman then the 2nd CB can either be of build-up playstyle or without a playstyles

Ur wrong about full back finishers being bad in defence. Marcelo and featured Alonso who are finishers have better defensive stats than Jordi alba who is offensive

My defence is- R. Carlos(lb), featured pique(cb) ,godin(cb) and featured de ligt(cb). I dont have a rb, is it good?
If you like doing crosses with lb then you can have a rb too!! If you don't have black ball rb.. use a gold ball rb like K.Walker,T.A Arnold, Hector Bellerin

The defending in this game is really bad..you will get frustrated... defenders dont stay in their position , they get draw out to the midfield easily and create space for opposition attacters..
People say that boateng is good but sometime I dont even see him while defending and he doesnt win 1v1 that much despite the stat. Any tips, suggestion? Pls help

extra frontman is ideal when paired with a build up. build up watches the back while he moves forward.

but don't use Pique as wide CB.
He's not fast, use him as middle CB only
I don't like playing CBs at wing positions. I've got featured TAA, 95 rated and Sandro at LB. Faster and better offensively than CBs
Pique is faster than in the stats. He's got some 'secret speed'

This is a bug.
Konami has already made an announcement regarding this issue & will be fixed in next update. You can check their announcement in game's inbox (currently confirmed issues 03/ 06/ 19)
