    You are going to love this Lotion Candle Recipe. Lotion candles or massage candles are candles where additional oils and butters have been added to give the perfect slip for massages. On the surface a lotion candle looks just like a regular candle, but it is actually a massage oil in solid form.

    I have question about ingredients in oils and butters if it won't dissolve in high temperatures? If it still gonna have that all beneficial things in it ? High temperatures wont ruined properties of that nuturing olis ?

    • @SummerRainDIY
      @SummerRainDIY  Před 3 měsíci

      Absolutely! The temperatures involved in using the massage oil candle won't reach levels that would degrade the beneficial properties of the oils and butters. It's important to keep in mind that the candle is lit only for a short duration, just long enough to create a pool of melted wax. This ensures that the nurturing qualities of the oils remain intact and ready for a soothing massage experience.

      @@SummerRainDIY im more concern about period when we make a candle ;) we need to melt wax with oils and butters and it involve high temperatures even 80° Celsius

    Can we use beeswax instead of soy wax in this recipe to produce lotion candle?

    • @SummerRainDIY
      @SummerRainDIY  Před 7 měsíci

      No because beeswax has a higher melting point. You don’t want the oils to get too hot.

    Why did you add the FO @ 158 if the flashpoint is 200. Have I been wrong this whole time?

    • @SummerRainDIY
      @SummerRainDIY  Před 6 měsíci

      You want to add it below the flashpoint of your fragrance oil.

    I made a lotion candle, but when I pour the melted wax on my hand after burning it, it smells like burning, even though I put essential oil in it? How can I fix this?

    • @SummerRainDIY
      @SummerRainDIY  Před 6 měsíci

      Did you put enough essential oils? Maybe try a fragrance oil

    Anything else rather then soy wax ?

    • @SummerRainDIY
      @SummerRainDIY  Před 6 měsíci

      I’m sorry but no. You need something skin safe with a low melting point.
