We are to love God's Word and His will more than any of our earthly possessions. He deserves our love and devotion, and He should have first place in every area of our life. I believe that as we honor God, He blesses us, and will provide for our needs. We do have to do our part, of course, and we may go through times of financial trial, but God is faithful to keep His promises as we trust Him and have faith. We can meet our physical needs, with God's help, and even accumulate material things while not violating God's will, doing so by keeping Him first and obeying His will as found in His Word. Our treasure is in Heaven, not here on earth. Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G. I'm sure sorry for your 'fiery' trial, but love that God preserved 3 books.
