@@bean6520 I stopped playing a while back but I was D3, he's actually doing pretty well. If he'd practice hitting the ball with accuracy and do a little bit of aerial training he'd be high gold, easy.

for someone super new to the game his positioning makes a lot of sense, his mechanics and his constant 180 powerslides are a hate crime against cars but otherwise impressive for his time played
His positioning at times is okay but he spends a lot of time chasing the ball. If he focuses more on where the ball will be and maybe practice some jumping he will be on the right track.
i agree he is good at positioning witch is a hard thing to learn Butttt every time the mmr goes up it gets realy hard to keep thes rutines and when he ranks upp he will find that his rotation will lak and he will have to learn mechanics so that he can carry and inissiate the winn for hes team
@@jaykay1074 the only way to get on the right track with les than 20 h is to play the game more. u can teach him what u whant but he realy needs to get more houers to understand the game before u can learn that consistantly. its like teaching a baby to runn before u teach him to walk. just cus running is faster doesent mean its mor inportant thatn walking.
firecheetah_rfc , Yeah I agree I’m at D3 div 3 and having a painfully time hitting champ because of my rotation and positioning. I can hit ceiling shots and air dribbles double taps all day but my rotation back to D is awful

I appreciate new players and people trying out the game. I think it’s great that it’s a growing community, and will continue to be as it is going F2P soon. All things considered, this is so incredibly hard to watch because you can tell clearly he just stares at the ball. Like directly at it. Not even a hint of positioning in anticipation for where someone will touch it. And then yell at his teammates. 9.5/10 would watch another PVcRL video

xqc needs to do the tutorial to learn to aerial, as well as rotate in 3v3. these things are critical to learn if you want to do good (just learning to aerial will take you up to platinum in ranked).

I see a lot of people in chat who have never played it saying he is bad. Dont let the amazing clips of the top 0.5% fool you. This game is much much harder than it looks. It has the biggest skill gap of anything I've ever played. Dont let that keep you from trying it out tho. Some of the most fun I've had with RL was while bronze. (That and my first Flip reset)
eh, its not that hard. of course Im only diamond 3 so I cant really say I know everything but it doesnt take too long to learn how to aerial. learning to aerial is probably the most crucial thing to learn in this game. and it shouldnt take more than 10 minutes to learn (and than you have to apply it to matches)
@Will Ralston yeah I guess I just meant the basics of aerial. like getting off the ground and hitting the ball in midair. I went all the way to diamond just knowing that. I myself still dont know how to do flip resets, double taps, ceiling shots, or anything else.

I have to say that you only play the game sometimes, but you still learned it well. and what i noticed right at the beginning is that you use the handbrake a lot, that's great. but a tip, if you want to do yourself a favour! learn to fly NOT because I say so, I'm only a gold and platinum player myself, but I find it's much better if you can fly. if you just wait until it fits someone can demmo you. and you know, the ball is sometimes so slow. in the time you look up someone sniped you away wow. I would do that to be honest, think about it? wouldn't you do that, push a camper away to do your team a favour? well it's a chess that belongs to the game but always demmo is just unsportsmanlike and handicapped.

I mean, if you have teammates like that, you don't need opponents. why put a rank system in a game like this? it makes no sense at all. The best thing is, you then have 20 games only such brain dead in your team not only 1-2 games out of 10 games or something. no... 16 out of 10 games just rubb**h. and NO, I didn't count wrong, it feels exactly like that! It's a lot of fun to play, otherwise I wouldn't be so upset. but it's kind of broken in many points, fortunately it is free to play now. in this day and age it wouldn't even surprise me if a primate manages to download and play the game. don't see any difference either.

Silver or low gold is what I got the first time i ever played my placement matches like the first week i played the game. You just chase the ball instead of thinking about where it will go or even trying to aerial or jump for it.
