Feathers and Flesh is easily one of my favorite albums of all time, regardless of band. As much as I love Avatar for their willingness to try new styles and instruments for a song or two, that does make it quiet difficult for live shows. I was disappointed in the lack of cello when I saw them live once, but getting a bunch of violins might be difficult if they had help. A piano would be badass to include, but I don't expect an organ for Sky Burial to appear on a stage for one song.
The intro is fucking amazing. and the distant scream at 0:21 gets me every single time. Such a great song

I was hesitant to pick up this album, because I loved the previous two so much. I heard Johannes say in an interview it was a 'concept album'... well fucking done. Concept solidified. Avatar does not disappoint

I was lucky enough to see them in Belfast a week ago for the first leg of their Eu Tour! They blew me away!! They are without a doubt my new favourite band and that hasn't happened in a looooooooong time! ALL HAIL AVATAR!! \m/
