Let’s all focus on our communities and strengthen social bonds (while social distancing and the shelter in place..being enforced by the cops) and all do as much as we can for as long as we can. Without getting political.. I’m extremely disappointed in our “leadership” not leading anything but trillions for there corporate sonars.. masters. Nevertheless we have to start leading ourselves because the govt doesn’t seem to know there heads from there ass’s, common sense (logic and reason based choices) and self discipline are going to increasing need to be applied instead of panic and rolling around the floor fighting each other for toilet paper. really the only thing we can control is our reactions to what this fluid situation brings our way. I caught this show when he came to Dallas... the girl backup singer with the longer hair came down off the stage, I got to take pics with her, she was more beautiful up close...after the show, I hung out for about an hour or so and caught Bootsy getting ready to leave on the tour bus.... he stopped and took a pic with me and signed the photo I had bought before the show (its hanging on my wall in my office) I couldn't believe that I got to be that close to a James Brown Band/Parliament/Funkadelic legend... and he was a nice guy too...

Seen many "in his prime" concerts... there was some nights believe it or not that Bootsy and his rubber band had the best concert. And Parliament Funkadelic didnt have a bad show they still jammed. Its just that Bootsy was just that good!
What? No not true at all. First off, james brown doesn't use half ass musicians. Second of all you dont " free style notes" whilst playing for the Godfather . You get fined. Big time. The bass line is exactly what J.Brown wants it to be nothing more, nothing less.

The Space Bass live is such a cool Experience. The dynamic range is cut off when it is transferred to a recording. The highs and lows affect your ears and soul differently in concert.

I saw the Parlament-Funkadelic/Bootsy Show in Memphis TN. 1978 I thought George Clinton &The Crew was gone TURN IT out but when Bootsy Came out with that White-Star guitar Stepping High & playing that Bass stole the show & yes Mud-Bone didn't miss a note; it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Parliament-Funkadelic/Brides Of Funkenstien were Amazing also. Yeah man that Bass Solo sent my mind & Body back to 1976...WOW !!!!
