- The prices on these newer, haute-ish watches like Glashutte and Blancpain have really calmed down over the past 6-12 months. Now might be the time to pick one up if you've been eyeing a specific model!
Agreed. I just put down 2.5k on various watches including a limited edition Seiko Alpinist and a Hamilton Khaki.

Great video and it really feels like prices are coming back to Earth across the board which makes it great for enthusiasts. I bought the 39.5 SeaQ (black) and it really is phenomenal. I got mine on ebay while they were having a fairly decent discount coupon which made the price very attractive
Suggest exploring the second hand market in mainland China where prices are significantly (30-50%) cheaper for same watch with box and papers. Just a much bigger market.
Great quick video! I'm totally on the same page. It's pretty rare to find a vintage inspired, non-Rolex submariner design adjacent, dive watch from a highly respectable brand. Glashutte Original has always struck a chord with me by delivering classically inspired watches for a modern market. From hand engraved components (like the balance cock), including the three quarter plate and balance cock, they are a sorely underrated watch brand with great pedigree. Keep up the great vids!

Glashütte SeaQ is realy nice. I have got the Vintage Spezimatic. 1:11 This is the first edition form the GDR, my is the second.

@@oddpout The watch has got a very nice and solid cushion case and no minute scale. I was looking 1-2 years for this watch, i own it since 6 months. It is very difficult to get the watch. Once you have the watch as a collector, you never give it away again.
