Light weight, powerful and concealable, dude, it's the perfect concealed weapon. 357 Magnum and 38 Special! Hands down, second to none.
It's a great revolver but I think that the grip is just to big and thick to carry. Unless you wearing a jacket mabey. Still a solid revolver

Once i chased a guy who hit my truck and ran and when i finally confronted him at his business he had another guy come out for back up. They both stayed behind their doors and i didnt want a gun fight but knew my 9mm was no match for 2 guys with rifles especially at the distance they were at. So i left because the guy didnt want to pay for damages and there was no way to prove it and i was late for my job. But talk about pissed and wishing i had thought that through better

I'm a fan of Glock firearms but my first gun was Smith 686 in stainless steel and 3in barrel. It is still a great gun. Very accurate and fun to shoot. I like your and I plan on buying one in the very near future. Thanks for the video.
With the smaller aftermarket grips, I would carry this model all day long. I currently use a Ruger LCR .357 mag

Shockingly good looking revolver! All the kids in my hood had them (8 round plastic moon clip cap guns). They didn’t even have the red plastic barrel tip and were heavy metal. My next door neighbors mom kept it under the seat of her car! Too real I imagine. Probably lead to the red barrel tips to alert cops and others that it’s a toy.

I carry a blued finish Taurus 617. Seven shot in .357 mag carrying Underwood 158gr XTPs. Its about 30oz fully loaded and I open carry so its a breeze.
If I’m not carrying that then I open carry my Shield Plus PC which is an amazing gun as well !

I have a model 329PD 44 magnum 6-shot N frame. It came with a titanium cylinder but I switched to a stainless steel S&W brand cylinder. The trigger and hammer were polished by Mag-Na-Port Inc. and they duel trapezoidal ported it too.
8 rounds of .357 is crazy. This could be the perfect edc ever.

I would love for S&W to offer this exact model in full steel/stainless.
They could just take their 627 PC V-Comp and put a 2 inch SS barrel on it, and it would even look the same as this while being way smoother to shoot and more durable.

Why manufacturers leave backstraps uncovered in magnum revolvers still bewilders me. Ruger have figured that out long ago, the new Colts have good grips and even Kimber belatedly offer wrap around comfort grips for the K6S, but Smith still goes old school.
It's a shame about the confusing name. Sounds like it's a 327 caliber when it's really a 357. Now I'm trying to imagine a 327 federal magnum version, with 10 shots and a slightly longer barrel.

Have you ever tried a Styrka red dot sight? Saw one on another channel today and they do look like a nice option. Of course I thought of you right away, and since they are available at Optics Planet it sure would be cool to see it take on the water bottle challenge. It is supposed to have a super warranty as well so maybe it's something you could check out.

2-inch 357mag is a serious velocity penalty. I think 3" is the best compromise. And 4"+ is optimal.
2" delivers "about 1200fps

Funny. I just aquired another springfield xd9 after some bartering and selling. Im still wondering if i should settle for the xd9 or trade it for a 357 magnum but will probably keep it and just buy a 357 at academy

Personally, I think .357 magnum in revolvers is the funnest ammo to shoot. It's just powerful enough and doesn't hurt the hand. I have the tiny Lady Smith .357 magnum and another S&W, 8 shot .357 magnum.

Somthing that beefy in a 357 mag I would want it to be as heavy as it can be to help with the recoil. But it does look good. More weight would make it more fun to shoot.
