I was having burst issues and didn't even know about the little dial that could be adjusted. Thank you!!

Hand feeding is a deal breaker for me.

      Hello @jojomascalero
Thanks for commenting. We hear that from many clients too, so you're not alone!
We've found hand-feeding well-suited for shops that do short runs - where setting up the automatic feeder will be more time-consuming than hand-feeding a couple sheets into the laminator. But it will depend on your shop and the volumes you run.
For longer runs, we recommend using the PODTopic Auto (czcams.com/video/APh6wqJqqUw/video.html), or one of the machines in the popular Bagel series (www.skandacor.com/shop?search=bagel+laminator&order=) if your volumes are high enough to justify it.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about which machine will work best for you! You can reach us at sales@skandacor.com

Thanks for your question. The machine's max speed is 10m/minute. However, your production speed will be dependent on the variables of the job.

Qn: Do I need to rethread the film each time I am to use it after having the machine off for afew shop closing hours the day before? Or I could leave it remain threaded, switch on and wait til it comes to temp?

Hello Sharil, thank you for your question. There is no need to rethread the film each time you turn on the machine. You can leave the film threaded in the machine overnight and while it is warming up. Simply turn it on the next time you need it, and with its quick warm-up time, you’ll be laminating in less than 7 minutes!
The only exception to this is if you are using our NYpro films. Nylon tends to absorb moisture in the air, so when using NYpro always take it off the machine when finished and wrap it up tightly in the provided foil bag, making sure to seal the opening with tape.
