For the chicken
750 gms Chicken breast
1 ½ tbsp Pepper Powder
½ tbsp Salt
3 tbsp Butter
For the Sauce
8 cloves garlic (minced)
2 medium size onion
1 cup chicken stock
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp maida
1 tbsp Mixed herbs (oregano, parsley, basil )
¼ tsp Nutmeg powder
1 ½ tbsp pepper powder
Chopped paresly for garnish
Method
Wash and clean the chicken
Pound the chicken breast to flatten the thick meat
Cut the chicken into medium size (you can also use the original breast size for cooking)
Apply the pepper and salt on both the sides of chicken pieces
Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes
In a pan heat the butter, add the chicken pieces one by one and cook both the sides until they become golden brown
Keep the cooked chicken aside
In the same pan heat the olive oil and butter
Add the minced garlic and chopped onions, saute well for 5 to 7 minutes
Add the maida (all purpose flour ) and mix well
Then add the chicken stock ( you can use chicken stock cube and water ) and boil for 5 minutes
Add the mixed herbs, pepper powder and salt. Mix well
Add the grated nutmeg to enhance the flavor
In this stage add the cream and cook for 3 minutes
Once the sauce is ready, add the roasted chicken and cook for 5 minutes
Switch of the stove add the chopped parsley for garnish
