Wow Coal Pit Yard up Dean Lane has changed since I lived there 25 years ago! Spent my childhood playing up there, had fun in the rivers & getting up to mischief as you do.

Hi Colin, have been driving T2/T1 for many years, just sold my 1957 and found a T6… I know most people dream of going in the other direction. I’m an expat and was feeling a bit far from home with only a classic.
So have gone for something to convert and be able to visit home quicker and more often.
Stayed here a few weeks ago in their glamping pod with the hot tub. Lovely
Place. Just bought a t6 to convert so can’t wait to go back

I know the area well, I have worked in Rossendale for the last 22 years pal and commute daily on the bicycle over them hills.
As Lancashire lad I often compare The two great counties of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
I was wondering what your thoughts were ...

I'll be perfectly honest, there's not a whole load of difference, especially ince you get in to the countryside. It's just northern rolling hills. I think you'd be hard pushed to guess which county you were in if you were blindfolded and plonked randomly in the middle of nowhere.
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures yes, I agree. I love the Dales and they are hard to beat but the area around the Trough of Bowland on the Lancs side has it's own unique beauty

Relatively new to your vlogs as we made the decision to buy a van in April, van bought in May, van going in for conversion next week; enjoying them all, please more photography as your landscape talent is wonderful and no tripod! 🤣
Quick question about your Aeropress - which one is it? Thought I’d bought yours but it doesn’t come with the red lid and the spoon handle is HUGE lol

Why do you always use that expensive 907 bottle to power the cadac? You can get an adapter and use the cheap en417s. I have to buy the 907s as thats the only size that fits in my van
We already had it bud, we've got two that need using up so we might as well use those first. Then get the adapter for the smaller cans once we've used up all of the gas in the 907's
Nobody is perfect Col but if your from Yorkshire you're pretty close to LANCASHIRE where they are 😂 great informative vlog as always 👍
