I also love... when Kelly's "misses" the notes... she never looks upset. Most of the time she just smiles and shrugs it off. Some other vocal divas look upset when they miss
+despairingleonardo yeah I agree. Her voice dramatically changed between My December era and All i Ever Wanted era. and technique improved so much as Stronger era came in!
In 2011 she starts doing it in more of an operatic mixed voice rather than just a belt/scream in chest voice. Shows she got a lot smarter and a lot more refined with her technique as time went on. It took a truly incredible voice to be able to still nail it most times without the technique though wow
Slighting lowering the key of the song was a great choice. She can much more reliably and cleanly hit the high note, allowing her to improve technique and sing it instead of just kind of shouting it. Didn't take long for it to soar.
Boy that Christmas special did on fox in 2004 (1:09) was one of Kelly's overall BEST nights vocally! Her voice was on fire during that special. I love 3:30. She knows she totally nailed it!
it shows how she improved her technique though she isn’t hitting a G5 she’s hitting a F#5 much healthier and it sounds so much better tbh, you can hear it clearer and her voice is still beautiful with it
@@elgars996 Absolutely nothing wrong with her having gained weight, because if she had plastic surgery, you still would have typed some hate comment, so leave her alone to be as real as she can. 🤷🏻♂️
2011...that remind me the time she said in the voice "it's better make the high note with vibrato", I have to guess she learned that on 2010... It's obvious after 2011 the high note sounds cleaner! She's so beautiful! 😍
Wow! She goes so high. I've never been able to sing that high. Kelly Clarkson is an absolute legend. She's so wonderful and an amazing singer. Best Winner American Idol have ever had in my opinion. I absolutely love her.
Awesome montage! I didn't see a lot of these performance (and that's saying a lot!). Sad that I didn't see the G5 in the hospital from 2012 and from musicians on call in 2013 but what can you do :P
+sebastard429 Those ones are great! :) Since those performances are hard to find, here are tips for people who want to check them out: To watch the Vanderbilt Hospital performance, look up the user susudabit84 and find the video with this title: Kelly Clarkson"since u been gone" To watch the clip from the Hard Rock Cafe performance, search for "Kelly Clarkson - Since You've Been Gone - Hard Rock Cafe Na" (yes, truncated like that :p), and it'll come up.
When did an asterisk become a symbol for sharp? 🤔 Anyhow this was interesting. Also I was so confused by "resonant as f," at first I thought you were saying somehow it resonated as an F note and I was so confused 😅
She sings it again, and again, and again, and AGAIN!
I also love... when Kelly's "misses" the notes... she never looks upset. Most of the time she just smiles and shrugs it off. Some other vocal divas look upset when they miss
Her humility is encouraging to starting singers… just shows that even the best vocalists have their limits. Love her
Tbh she shouldn’t look upset, that’s very high and to sustain it makes it even harder
*she shouldn’t even be upset if she’s ever been
that f#5 is so amazing.
her techniques changed so much from the beginning. she literally screamed the g5 before.
+despairingleonardo yeah I agree. Her voice dramatically changed between My December era and All i Ever Wanted era. and technique improved so much as Stronger era came in!
despairingleonardo she developed her mix more and more!! Now it has God force
dhruba intisher It’s not a mix. It’s a whole chest voice note.
@@byebye9840 No, it's a mixed note.
Charity Rivers It’s full voice, but not full chest. Aka mix
My favorite is def 5:02. The vibrato, the placement, the mix were all great. The latter 2012 and pretty much all of 2013 ones were all fantastic.
I agree 100%
That was superb quality for such a high note. Her technique vastly improved since her early years :) Well done!
Just by these clip we can see HOW MUCH her technique has evolved. Holy shit!!!

again and again and again!!
her f#5s were healthier and pleasing to hear than the original note.
I agree. It sounded much more supported than the original note.
5:15 She was like OMG, did I just resonate that note????
and she looked stunning doing it 😍
That was sooo funny to me
Why does 4:26 make me want to cry though 😢 soooo talented! She deserves more credit.
The rasp definitely adds to it, my favorite
That’s literally the reason I’m here.
Slighting lowering the key of the song was a great choice. She can much more reliably and cleanly hit the high note, allowing her to improve technique and sing it instead of just kind of shouting it. Didn't take long for it to soar.
G5 is such an intimidating note. F# is half step lower and its like she can do it while laying down.
Boy that Christmas special did on fox in 2004 (1:09) was one of Kelly's overall BEST nights vocally! Her voice was on fire during that special.
I love 3:30. She knows she totally nailed it!
jal b I mean the typical high note for this song is like 1-2 seconds, and she held that F#5 for like 3-4 seconds, which is impressive asf
I fucking love that she wears normal casual everyday cloths when performing
+Elizabeth Rey Same. especailly on the stronger tour ha
Reading this exactly at 5:26
it shows how she improved her technique though she isn’t hitting a G5 she’s hitting a F#5 much healthier and it sounds so much better tbh, you can hear it clearer and her voice is still beautiful with it
I LOVE KELLY CLARKSON! WOO-HOO! She’s a freaking legend.
shes underrated af
Fool
overwighted

0:40 her Ellen Degeneres performance For Me Is the best so Smooth
Wow! She goes so high. I've never been able to sing that high. Kelly Clarkson is an absolute legend. She's so wonderful and an amazing singer. Best Winner American Idol have ever had in my opinion. I absolutely love her.
Wow props to her!! These were hard to hit
I can’t wait for her kids to be old enough to understand just how much of a badass their mom is
4:17 and 4:26 are the best ones
5:00 her best F#5 I think
Awesome compilation! Thanks for sharing!
I love Kelly's womanly voice, it's so much more emotional.
Awesome montage! I didn't see a lot of these performance (and that's saying a lot!). Sad that I didn't see the G5 in the hospital from 2012 and from musicians on call in 2013 but what can you do :P
+kellyclarksonismygd Thanks :) There was just so many of them to choose from... but I appreciate ur suggestions :)
Take a shot every time she says again. And a double shot for every time she sings on Ellen😂😂
The Night for Hope one is my favorite.
She could be flat, sharp or off key, I still love her and her voice💕💕💕
Kelly you had me laughing throughout the video again and again and again and AGAIN😂
but you ABSOLUTELY KILLED EVERY NOTES OF IT THOUGH
I love that so much! I do love your channel!
+Gabriel Augusto btw the Ellen G5 is my favorite of all time.
1:25 BEAUTY!
Ya know if you skip 10 seconds in between each “again” it’s just a continuous cycle. I recommend doing it for the 2011-2013 ones loll
F#5 is so much better love it
Great video!! My favorites weren't included-- the G5s from the Vanderbilt Hospital and Hard Rock Cafe.

She's got the best high note ever. My favorite! ❤
Singing G5 in full chest voice isn’t easy though, she should have learnt to mix her G5s. 😩
At 5:15 it’s like even she was shocked about how amazing she is hahaha!
From 2009 onward, she got better. Not sure why her voice got raspy, though.
When did an asterisk become a symbol for sharp? 🤔 Anyhow this was interesting. Also I was so confused by "resonant as f," at first I thought you were saying somehow it resonated as an F note and I was so confused 😅
resonant as fvck hahahah
❤ KC
0:34 would have been one of the best if it wasn’t off key
I NEED that performance at 2:15 omg where can I find it lol
3 years later but czcams.com/video/jKNbnNS2ekI/video.html
Kelly is sometimes horse on her TV show. I would imagine these notes have something to do with it.
2013 was her vocal prime
Impressionante que os anos se passaram e ela continuou cantando ao vivo. A geração atual não canta, apenas usa playback.
3:10 4:26 compare
Kinda crazy she thought in school she wasn’t good enough for choir
Same with 3:53
Ellen 2004 is the best!
At 3:00 oh COME ON that was like at least a Gb5!
A Gb5 is equivalent to a F#5
That kindda hurt (idk)
Kelly is AMAZING..... Ellen how are those WAYFAIR CABINETS selling? You shouldn't sell children.........👿. Gross
Not again.
