Just got my poleaxe, it hits so hard and the metal clash is so loud. I haven't hit anyone yet or have been hit, so I don't really have the confidence of taking a blow to the head or hitting anyone seriously. But once my kit arrives I'll probably get a sense of how protective the armor really is.
