Pattaya Beer Garden Thailand, I revisit for a Vlogger that showed the beer garden in September last year and glossed over what i thought was important information, I have the deepest respect for this man, Please don't take any offence as i do like this guy.

When I met Kev in Aug 2018 I told him this was my favourite video of his. An absolute legend of Pattaya and so sadly missed. You may be gone but your spirit lives on.

I watch this video once a month to bring me back to reality from Disneyland. All expats will give this advice "Do not fall in love in Pattaya" it will be a very expensive mistake in many ways. I really miss you big fella. You will be in all of our hearts. RIP mate.
This is my 1st time back since he passed and I feel like Kev's really here with us in spirit. Having these videos means he'll always be with us.

Hi Kev, as an expat who has lived in Thailand for over 30 years, I have to tell you that this is your best Vlog todate. Many of your Vlogs have mistakes and your Thai pronounciation is well, lets say lacking but, in all fairness you sure know your Pattaya slappers! 100% correct! A Thai slapper may look prettier than a slapper in your own country but always remember, a slapper is a slapper, is a slapper, from where ever!! Good Vlog!
Some good advice for the newbies there Kev, and i love the beer garden for a nice relaxed breakfast but i have never been there at night , keep up the good work mate and get that leg rested.........

Been to Thailand 25 times in 11 years, so I know the score but that didn't stop me getting involved with a lady from Bangkok for
near on 9 years, recently ended- more fool me you might say but it's so easy to fall into that trap especially for an old guy like me
(57) before that I was involved with a Pattaya bar girl for around 18 months- a tale of woe I can hear you saying.
Anyway you're 100% right about losing face, I was always complaining I was told - criticism not allowed even if justified.

Its so true, the last two trips I have stayed for a few months and ended up with a so called gf, they either cost you economically or emotionally, and it ends shortly after you get home.
I think next time no long time as I get too emotionally attached lol.
I enjoyed myself much more when I was single and carefree there and not when I was with someone and was basically expected to be faithful. Hope this helps any newbies not to make the same mistakes I have. Thanks again Kev for saying it like it really is.

Hi Trev. Thanks for making it clear on the thai "girlfreind" situation. I was there last year, Found a great girl from a soi 7 bar.
Spent 11 days with her, and yes had to pay the bar fine every day. When I visit in May will be sticking to the two day rule (two days max with them then elbow time to look for the next). As long as you know the name of the game its a great place to vacation in.
Glad to see your recovering from Koh Samui, good straight talking, and good advice for new and old visitors.

Great advice pal,wish I'd have seen this a few years back I had to learn the hard way about "Girlfreinds" when I first went over in 2006,however I've been going back over know since 2006 to see my father who lives in pattaya at least once a year and twice when I can get of work.really liking your films kev I'll be back over in August hopefully,maybe get you a beer sometime pal.

In Thai they are called 'mia chow' (Rented Wife) .... but to be honest every one has it's own preferences. Don't just say 'Don't .... Don't generalize. In 30 years I've had many mia chows (for upto 5 years)... good ones and less than good ones. It's the same for smoking and drinking, neither are good for you, but people do them because they feel comfortable with them. From now on we call them 'companions'. OK?

Thinking of moving to Thailand to live end of next year.

RESPECT! I have a lot of respect for what you have done here and shone some light onto the hard truth. Some people only like to hear and think what they want to hear and think. Some of the stuff i hear people say about thailand and thai women is a load of bollacks.
I love watching your's and also geoff carter's video's and i must admit that i know a lot of people who haven't been to thailand who would be under the impression that u can simply hire a girlfriend for their holiday after that bit of sugar coating from the other persons vlog. You have also helped me understand my wife more about the arguing and not losing face lol. I have been happily married for 3yr now and it is very rare that we fall out but when she falls out with me there is no talking her around within a few days! You're perspective on you're Vlogs is genuine and from a different angle from others which is what makes you're video's so appealing to watch. I particularly liked the advice about not paying attention and keep walking when people on beach road start to kick up a fuss. Keep up the good work and i look forward to watching you're future video's

Can you give me an idea about how to do the ex-pat thing there on the cheap? I`ll be 54 this year and I would look to come over from the US in about 5-6 years is possible. Any advice? Cheers!

Brutally honest Kev and great advice for any newbie. I've been to Thailand probably 20+ times now and know the score...I actually fell out with a work colleague because of his Laos girlfriend...he claimed she lived in Laos and would just visit Thailand when he visited her...thing was she always wanted him to meet her in Pattaya...what a load of shit...and this is why we fell out...basically I told him...she lived in Pattaya all the time, she would be getting her snatch stretched everynight and he was a mug if he believed otherwise. I also questioned him why if paid for her to fly in from Laos then why did she not fly in a similar time to his flight and go to Pattaya together?..."Oh she likes to get everything ready for when I arrive" poppycock I say...She is a hooker and that's that.

Thx Kev, I m glad I subscribed just for this vlog alone. Many videos say u can rent a girlfriend during your stay. One did say for 10000 Baht for the week but did not mention the bar fine. I'm coming to Thailand/ Pattaya for the first time next February. I'm going to be flying for 17 hours from Hawaii and staying for 14 days. So I was thinking of crashing for a couple of days and recovering from the flight at a nice quiet hotel like the Hilton and then staying where the action is at the Galaxy suites. I also was looking at Devils Den Vip bus, from the airport or from hotel to Airport upon checking out. Expensive but it looks like a great service for 1 time. Much Mahalos for your videos and useful info as I am trying to get as much info as possible. Thx
Saidakine Aloha, Try my hotel The LK Empress...The beachfront rooms (Not Seaview) are about the same price as Hiltons normal rooms. I'm a Hilton Gold Honors member and I don't even bother with the Hilton...I've been told you have to pay a joiners fee at the Hilton as well. The LK Empress is only a 10 to 15 minute walk away from Walking Street. I have a beachfront room video somewhere on my channel...it's great people watching from the balcony. That devil's bus thing is very expensive...you're far better just getting a normal taxi from BKK and saving lots of cash for later. Stay away from the beach road hookers...they are there for a reason...don't buy any drugs from the guys selling drugs.

I agree and as i said i like him and watch his clips, I,m not sure about family friendly so much in Pattaya so lets say 10% the main thing is getting a GF for your holiday that is all, He did a brilliant job but what happens when a not so worldly young man comes here for the first time and thinks he's getting a GF for 10 days and then gets a £200 or $300 bill plus what he has spent on her or been fleeced out of while he is with her ? Does he refuse to pay does she then make a phone call ! All sorts of shit can happen here these ladies do have people that make sure she gets her money ! I might use his to get a feel for Thailand as a tourist spot, how to get about, sort of food available etc. He never goes into any detail about the p4p scene. When it comes to that I'm going to check Pattayaaddicts etc. So there's an area you're covering that GC just doesn't really get into, which I'm sure will be useful to a lot of guys and keep the naive out of bother.

No matter how many times you say do not fall for a bar girl,with the alcohol and the attention you receive from these girl's it is very hard not too fall in love,you just have to put them to the back of your mind,and realize that there will be one more beautiful or more fun and far more attentive around the corner,as you said it truly is a male paradise,if you act wisely and watch your budget,if not could be the worse place in the world to be skint,like a child in a toy store and his mummy no money.
