I have had rechargeable batteries in it for 3 months now and I use the door a lot and still have not changed them out. I’m sure if you some premium batteries like energizer they would last a long time.

Sorry I no longer have the instructions, assuming you already looked at it, then I would reach out to their customer service.
Someone would type the whole number and at that point won’t need to know your password 🤷🏻
Maybe but you definitely shouldn’t pick something that’s in sequence.
