that character ai is so funny. trained on his tweets so its all caps, and speaks aggressively like him
🤓it's actually not trained on his data, just prompted with context related to him. They using pretrained model. You can assume this is the case because the AI used an overwatch quote in an artificial way, so the system prompt probably asked for something along the lines of "When responding, consider XQCs background as an Overwatch pro...".

Xqc was being pretty weird and stuck up during it idk I loved that Drew video I’ve rewatched it a couple times. I’d say it’s not even worth watching his react. Chat was also spamming cringe like the little 12 year olds they are for half the vid.

i think its because yt demonetises videos for swearing/inappropiate language but they only rlly check in the first couple minutes, before it was only for like audible language but its been updated now to detect inappropiate language in text (e.g chat) so its probs just easier to blur all of chat just in case someone says something inappropiate

As a programmer, ai is one of the biggest problems for the industry moving forward, as in, there may no longer be an industry because of it. Also for all entertainment and just human creativity in general, ai is doing more bad than good and its only getting worse the more it improves.

I definitely agree with the take at 56:35, I used some pre existing code to create a localized ai art generator. I then used the very skin and bones generator running off of some command screen from a coding language I had no fucking clue what it meant, I gave the parameters for some images. I finally after an hour of messing around with it found one that I ACTUALLY genuinely liked. Used it as my pfp on discord.
so the work you did to direct the AI is valuable because of the effort? the skill ceiling is very low so it's never going to be valued like an artist that actually knows their stuff is now
The important thing is if you actually learnt from that experience imo.
If the machine does all the work and you don't retain any value from that then you cease to be valuable.
@@osku388 Effort does not equal value, I hope you know that. Art is about more than just time. Contemporary art is a perfect example of that. Art is about encapsulating something within us. It's indescribable.
Gatekeeping always exists as new mediums and tools become available. What we're seeing is just the newest form of elitism against the next-gen tools and mediums of expression. Anybody who hates AI art is the oldguard whose opinions will die out as the newguard adopts and normalizes AI art. Just as the oldguard of last generation were those who rejected digital art for being a shortcut, for lacking ephemerality, and for being fungible (pixels can always be copied exactly, the atoms that compose a canvas provide a fingerprint that means a copy of a painting will never be the exact same as the original painting), etc.
@@kylebroflovski6382 the first sentence was just an observation and i don't agree that AI is a tool because it's more like a whole production line. so like i said an AI prompter is only going to be as valued as a person over seeing a production line because the skill ceiling is very low. doesn't mean that AI won't eclipse other forms of producing art though, then there just wont be an 'artist' involved. i guess there can be artists using AI powered tools though, yeah, but it's pretty far removed from the production line generative do it all type of AI art

56:40 the problem with this guy's take is that its not about you. Its about the audience. Nobody cares about you and how you feel fulfillment. What does the viewers/audience/consumers want. More good music, better and faster art designs, etc.
If you want fulfillment, you can still do it on your own but if AI can make these processes much faster for companies while not losing quality or infact increasing quality and throughput, i see only positives.

I imagine big AI companies will invest more in mechanisms to try and detect AI content/low quality content so they can continue scraping data to train new models on. Pretty sure GPT4o is trained on virtually the entire internet.
I think we're getting heavy diminishing returns with transformer language models. This AI hype train was spurred on by a paper released in 2017 that proposed a new architecture, I think that's gonna have to happen again in order for AI to take that next jump.
The research side of things just needs to become more mature, you'd expect a lot of things to be thoroughly investigated, but many aren't. Then we'll have ai waifus

It sucks because there is pure art still being put out. Its just, people see a big number of views and plays, and it instantly makes the song more likeable regardless of the quality of the product. And, in turn not clicking on videos or songs with low views. Thats why most artist fake it til they make it. What a world 😂
