- Once in a great while a tool is so impressive you need to make a video about it. This is one of them times. If you would have told me how much I was missing out using my PP3 instead of the PP4 I would have laughed. Now that I have the 4 and have used it twice I totally agree.
Between the Power Probe 4 and the AesWave Advanced Terminal Test kit this job had meet its match. Of course the pico scoped helped.

Hello Matt:You make an excellent video. The power probe is a first class diagnostic tool. Permit me a couple of observations. Please understand I am NOT criticizing , I am offering suggestions to make a great video better. It would be helpful for many viewers if you were to speak more slowly & to enunciate more clearly. Many have hearing that is compromised, & enunciation makes a world of difference for them. Thank you for a first class review.
YTube volume, varies from one end of the chart to another. Your suggestions are the same as were taught to me, when I got my first CB radio, in the 70’s. 👍
Hey Matt, great vid, just FYI if you pull the tip out of you PP4 you should be able to pop the end of your banana jack leads right in there. If not they do sell the little adapter.
I need the adapter. The banana Jack wouldn’t work when I was testing it before I filmed. However, I was lying upside down in the dash. You saw my swollen eye so functioning was the best. I’ll try it after vision.
Oh man I hear ya. September is the worst for me, some days it feels like I have to pry my eyes open! Yeah I was not sure if it came with it or not. I know I have mine in my PP4 kit but I may have robbed it from the PP Hook or lead set I imagine. I am more of a test light and scope kinda guy ;) Great vid BTW. Fantastic editing!

The new Power Probe Tec Masetro recently came out it has a Bluetooth App for phone that records data and refers to how to do each test properly master kit 299.00 .
Also they have a 4 light 1000 lumens flashlight with 4 removable lights that tilt and have magnets.

Thanks, I can’t begin to tell you the amount of editing that goes into these. I have been slammed with work. I haven’t found the red time (family comes first) to edit more. I have 5-6 filmed. Hoping to get one or two done by the end of April.
Can’t tell you how many I film and trash because it’s not there (quality wise)
Nice job Matthew. Did you check to see what the fly back voltage looked like on those solenoids? I know you said the shop replaced the solenoids but as you said you think it is a Tcm. Maybe it will give you some useful info. Perhaps it will show the computer not being able to clip the fly back voltage.
I should have done that. I know that’s a problem on the Chrysler’s. I really didn’t want to look at it. But I was suckered in with the chance to try out the powerprobe

Hey I have the 4 I switched it to feed test put the tip in the ground and nothing happened ??? Any ideas ??
My pp4 makes a loud noise and it wont go away. Do I need to reset it?

You’re a mobile tech and Identifix doesn’t complain about you changing physical locations? I’ve been wanting to sign up but I’ve heard of them getting on people’s cases about that.
I pay more than a regular shop and I am only allowed one license. I had to sign up and agree to their mobile license. The IP address can only go so far before another license is required.

I forgot that I can only use it on a mobile hotspot or they shut it off. I can’t ever use someone WiFi. Which blows. Ask how I know lol

This problem easy to find without pp4 and your software. You did that thing then another thing and anyway you didn't find the problem, lol
