  • This is my helicopter rig , which I use when casting a long distance with low diameter hooklengths . I use the helipcopter rig when casting distances beyond 40 metres .

    Do you need a weight-forward style of feeder for a helicopter rig or will a regular side weight ed feeder still work? Also, what length hooklength should I use?

    Would this be considered "Safe" on all waters as the hook length is tethered to the weight? Looking to tie up similar to this and wondered what ur experience has been!

    Great explanation thank you. I can’t make out what size diamond eye swivels you are using Graham? Are they size 10 so as to accommodate the 0.7 silicone please?

    is there another way you can get around using their elicopterul you use but not using the twizzle boom mate ?
