Thank you so much for getting me into rythm games I remember watching your adgq video and being so amazed and I wanted to try it. I eventually downloaded stepmania and osu and I was hooked I’m not the best at them but it’s such a fun genre to me thank you so much and best wishes
Thank you for getting me into Osu!mania. I remember watching your freedom dive video and I was so amazed. After playing for 1 and a half years it has always been a goal to get as good as you, but that will be hard. Thank you for showing me this amazing community,.
Good luck to variety streaming, Lily! I know that VSRGs bring you quite the love/hate memories for the past years, but we all love to look forward on the contents on your next streams~ P.S. : those warmups though, mfw
Staiain, over the past (almost) a year now, i've played mania hours and hours. I've gotten a lot better at the game, and i won't stop yet. I remember watching your vids in complete awe. I really wanted to get as good as you were in vsrg. I've gotten a lot closer. Maybe one day. Good hunting.
Your FREEDOM DiVE FC back then got me inspired to play like you. Watching your plays got me determined as well to do better and to improve. I hope you'll grow succesful in variety streaming, staiain. :>
Just having a look back at some old videos right now. I hope you still understand the amazing ripple affect you had on so many people both in playing VRSGs and elsewhere. Your community will always hold a place in my heart! Seeing that old photo at 3:20:24 of you, Amascite and Toby having utepils broke my heart a little bit
This went over my head until I saw your Skyrim clip you just posted. Wish you all the best. I get that this was a hefty price to pay for you, but letting the real you come to the surface is so much more important. For me you will always be the greatest, and my biggest inspiration. The unachievable god. Better late then never eh? Much love -Axzter
Yours -gnager^ AKA xkaliber
Good job deciding to take the health of your hands seriously instead of continuing playing high level rhythm games with an injury. I had to make the same decision a while ago since it started getting to my knuckles, causing reduced speed and minor amounts of pain while not playing. It's healed up by now, but it'll come back if I try and play. So while it sucks to see other people playing and want to get back to spread, it'd suck significantly more to try and be competitive and end up with debilitating hand pain for the rest of my life. Good luck with variety streaming Staiain.
I also had to stop playing rhythm games (for now/indefinitely? not sure) because it was hurting my wrists, so I'm in the same boat o/. If you need something to fill your hardcore gaming urges, there are plenty of shmups and action roguelikes that offer the same thrill and escalating difficulty as rhythm games - check out games like Crimzon Clover World Ignition, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Monolith and Enter the Gungeon for example.
Patashu I've been playing shmups and other things like F-Zero GX for a while, but I struggle to stay interested in a single game since I like to "git gud" rather than memorize routes and inputs. Stepmania and it's thousands of songs allowed me to stay interested for 14 years since I was never stuck playing the same content. Was never really someone who could go for AAA's etc, since I'd get bored long before I get there. Only thing I've found so far that itches getting gud in stepmania is modifying Cave shmups to remove slowdown and trying to dodge all the hard attacks without bombs, but it quickly gets boring :\ I find I tend to watch streams more than play video games nowadays because of this.
@@Patashu yeah, that's what I've been doing with the rest of my time. Learning C÷÷ and modern Opengl so I can develop a multithreaded engine. Basically always a challenge since I have to solve difficult problems while learning math I didn't get to in school, but very rewarding.
As a fnf player I didn't even realized how amazing rhythm games back then you inspire me to play rhythm games more Even tho I'm a fnf player ngl This made me cry :(
Wait so is he quitting? Edit: if this is really you deciding to not murder your hands in competitive anymore, i respect you hard core for that and everything you did before too 👌👌keep on livin

When you get bored of playing games, the next step is to make games ww
