- Indigo dyeing is an ancient tradition in the northern Nigerian city of Kano.
But a dwindling number of customers and cheap imitations are threatening the centuries-old industry.
Many dye sites have shut down.
And those still operating have seen both their production and incomes cut by more than 70%.
