for a band that didn't release anything for 13 years this is a good and strong release of an album especially if there was any doubt about their musical career well their sincerity in the lyrics and musicality as in what they are capable of composing well this album and what the producer what trying to capture was pretty successful i mean they are already extremely gifted professional musicians and this album reflects that progresson in everything that they are doing as musicians of this kind of music sonically its an awesome variety starting with the harmonizing of vocals and i love how mercedes backing vocals are becoming more prominant and more creative and clean and then at a certain point in the song its just the drums and vocals then the guitars go back into that beat and rhythm again then the guitars return there too and end up with awesome solos its an awesome record the way everything is layered nothing gets lost in the mix of the recording, which means that someone understands the musicality like the messages elements and how the notes carry those emotions and for how long and the melodies help you too fel what they are feeling and with the sincerity and sweetness of Morgan's and Mercedes voices and maybe the others also cause i thought i heard them providing background vocals too which is cool because it adds more depth and texture and gives more life to the songs and the music and there is already that here in droves and yes it definitely has legs to stand on anyone that is an admirer of there work can plainly hhear how far they have come as musicians of this kind of music and the absolutely beautiful crative juices behind it bright shining stars they are rock on ladies

AWESOME!!!! So where would you like to go on your Kittie journey? Delve into their history a bit??? They do have a documentary that was released 5 years ago and they also released a live show at the London Music Hall w/ MOST of the past members all reunited to play the different incarnations of the band from 2011 going back to 1996!!! It's AWESOME if you like a LIVE show!!! The very first single and video they ever did was a song called "Brackish" that was extremely popular back in 1999/2000 (they blew up and headlined the 2nd stage on the Ozzfest festival). In addition to "Brackish" they released "Charlotte" both from their debut album SPIT which all the songs were written when they were 15 years old, maybe even a bit younger. By the time they got popular I think they were already 18 or 19 years old. (I may have SOME of this a bit off I'll have to go research it so I give accurate info to inform new fans!)
