  • The topic is levels of prevention from public health dentistry.. it is an important topic from exam and clinical point of view and you should know this very well because in public’s health dentistry the main focus is towards prevention and as we know prevention is better than cure so in this video I’m explaining this in detail and even Im giving a scenario type of question so that you can exactly know if you are taking the case history in your exams and postings when you write treatment plan according to levels of prevention which condition comes under which level of prevention and do let me know the ans of the question in comment section below.. thank you..

    36,46 - Primary prevention- Specific protection by pit and fissure sealants
    64,75 - Secondary prevention- restoration
    84- tertiary prevention-if pulpal involvement is there then we do rct(disability)
    If periapical involvement then extraction and then crown (rehabil..)

      That’s absolutely right 👍🏻 and even after rct you do the rehabilitation with crown and even now you see in dietary habit the sweet score is in watch out zone so you need to do health promotion also that you need to tell avoid carbohydrate rich food and have fibre rich food then avoid intermittent snacking and stuff like that.. so that mention about this when you need to right the answer also but rest you are correct.
