These young ladies witnessed the horrors of some of the most brutal POW camps ever. I couldnt imagine the nightmares these ladies had while trying to take care of soldiers that looked more dead than alive. A huge thank you to all the females that served in all branches.
Perfect background music for this story. What an era. My Parents were their age, Dad fought at Anzio, Mom worked in a plant .May God Bless this Generation always.❤️
In need of care and attention , in pain and afraid .Then a nurse touches gently . Providing the care and treatment . Nurses feel everyone's pain and needs .I hope and pray all the nurses that served our troops are recognised and never forgotten as the hero angels to injured souls of war ❣️🙏....
My dad was a young sailor on LST 744 during WWII in the South Pacific. His ship served in support of Army General Douglas MacArthur as he retook New Guinea, Morotai, and the Philippines. Thank you, Papa, for your service to our country. You would have been 98 this year. I miss you every day! ❤🎖️🇺🇲❤
