'Runaway Horses' is my personal favorite album by amazing Belinda Carlisle. I love every single song. "Shades of Michaelangelo" is another non-single masterpiece. Belinda's voice is stunning

There are individually great songs on albums and there are great albums. Runaway horses is a great album. Each song relates to each other in some way which is what an album should be and what a great song this is to end an album. Belinda Carlisle has a very emotional voice and this song has the ability to bring you to tears.

I just took a look at Runaway Horses on Belinda's discography, and it surprised me to see that Shades of Michaelangelo was the only song on that album which she herself wrote. It also happens to be my favorite track on that album, ever since I got the cassette back around 1989. Belinda should compose more songs; judging from this song, I'd say she's very good at it.
So when was this concert, anyway? She says we "only have ten years left to save the planet," so that got me wondering.
