I know this is a little old but I just picked up this monitor (my first) for my ps5 too and I was worried after seeing all the computer and desktop setups there were videos for but never just for the ps5 purely. Had me thinking that I just messed up and I’d need a computer for this to somehow be compatible. So thanks for the simplistic walkthrough!
Hi there, can you send me photos of display on PS5 and video settings options, does it support VRR on 1080p? Does it support 1440p 120hz and allm and rest of the options? Are you satisfied overall with the monitor? And does it have speakers and what is the quality of them?

I had to rebox my new Gigabyte M27Q after just one day of use and return it because it would constantly refresh itself every 3-5 minutes for no reason. I was extremely disappointed!
Did you have a first or a second revision?
Ugh😒 the back light bleed on this one isn’t great either. I’ve just ordered this and I am waiting. I hope mine isint too bad. I have heard some peoples were fine. Will be disappointed if I have to return

@@punch4065 it was shit. Dead pixels and awful back light bleed. Bough from Amazon. Ended up getting AOC monitor for like 160 more and was worth the extra buck

hi so i bought the 240hz one and when i put it up to 120fps the graphics turn from 1440p to 1080p I really don't like this feature and want to change it but the 1440p test on the ps5 said that the monitor cant go to 120fps at 1440p which is really annoying because its a 1440p 240hz monitor
Wts the maximum height with the rack?
I bought the 170hz version on Amazon but they gave me a completely different version. I received the newer 165hz version with very bad input lag at 60hz ( this is important to me cuz I also play on console). Ima try to return it and buy it again but I think I will just receive the same 165hz version once again.

@@goodbusiness9674 sent me a replacement and I received the same exact monitor. Went with the Acer Nitro XV272U. Returned it after two days because ghosting on that shit was terrible I don’t trust Rtings anymore. Then bought the Dell G2724D and can confidently say that this is the best 1440p monitor that is in stock rn.
The 165hz is better with RGB layout

at its lowest height how tall is it ? trying to find a monitor that will fit on my desk and not block my tv 17 inches above it.
im sure you have moved on, but in case someone has your same question, I measure about 16.5 inches

Yes it accepts a 4k signal from PS5 and downscales it into 2k

Are you using the Display Port cable? 170hz will not work with HDMI.
@@brownsamurai3070 Yup, display port itself. Turns out my GPU has a pixel clock limitation which won't let it go beyond 144hz but my Intel iGPU can do 165hz 😄
