Better than rock music!!!
"Good heavens, this music is really rocking my socks off". 😁
Indeed! That’s why it became ‘Classic’! Junk of today is just noise. No substance.
It’s always the same stuff man 🥱
Would’ve liked to see Holst, Royer and Rachmaninov of this list, but it’s still great
"This club can't even Händel me right now." Händel, probably.
"That Handel, he's so hot right now"
sides status: crippled
"That Händel can get it"
Get out of here and don't come Bach.
"Amadeus what Amadeus! " - Mozart probably
I have discovered that classical music can be played in the background when studying literally any subject and it never diverts my attention like pop songs. its amazing
Isn't that the best thing ever? 😍
c'est profond! and very true lol
It diverts my attention because I can't stop headbanging
Probably because you're not really listening
Some people get caught up on lyrics
If it's not Baroque, don't fix it
i love this lmao😭
That sounds like you're saying Baroque is broken and needs to be fixed
*ahem*
AS YOU WERE!
[face-palm activated]
You learned that in 10th Grade Highschool.
Classical is the metal music before electricity. Great compilation.
That's what we've been saying all along, glad you agree🤘Thanks for listening!
I think Bach would've been a fan of complex synth arpeggios
Beethoven would've loved working with heavy distortion
Debussy would drench anything in 80%wet effects
Mozart would tell us "there are no wrong notes..." on ToiTuyau
Wagner would basically be a permanent Evanescence Rammstein colab
De hecho sí. El Metal es el nieto de ella, porque el Blues y el Country (sus papás) algo retoman de ésta. Abrazo.❤
Well said!!
Exactly. This would be considered as a fast power metal. Perfect similarity!
It's pretty amazing someone just had this stuff playing in their head or even developed such complex songs.
Fr but I'm sure it took alot of time and experimenting and tinkering around with different sounds and instruments to see what sounded right
They didn’t have it playing in their heads, it was composed and developed from much more primitive thoughts
It’s one thing to write a song for a guitar…. It’s quite another to write a song for 78 different instruments
@@Jimking666 you don't know that in any regard. It was a different time. Just consider that.
@@Glostahdude exactly, to some degree the progression must have been realized. That alone is amazing. A time when we referred to each other in a regal sense.
As an opera singer, I get the endless joy and giggles out of this and the comments. I've also sung classically with a heavy metal band, sooooooooo....yeah, classical can indeed, rock your socks off.
It sounds like you've got the best of both world Kelli, that's amazing!
Mixing modern music with Classical is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly. Go back in time; give Händle an electric guitar. See what happens. Metal baby!
Iirc, Serj from S.O.A.D. is also a trained opera singer, so yeah I believe you.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Modern songs hit hard,
And old one’s do too
Thanks for the love.

I discovered Beethoven when I was ten years old. When I became a teenager and got into Metal I immediately made the connection between the two. The best Metal music balances that raw aggression with moments of gentle beauty, like Beethoven.
Inspiration of Megadeth solos, obviously

I can't describe how, but I somehow knew, without a doubt, that this video was going to start with Vivaldi's Summer.
For real, it’s predictable and overplayed. Check out my music playlist if you want to…
@@Shreksbigfattoeyo Your playlists must be private, they don't show up on your channel.
I myself was looking for some Paganini but, Vivaldi will do.
I recognized it right away. It's a banger
i didn't even know it was called vivaldi's summer but that was the song playing in my head when i clicked this video
The secret of Art is that it is timeless. It doesn't age, and the very best tells a great story of the human spirit. It reveals to us something we never knew, yet somehow knew all along. It reminds us to try a fresh perspective and that nothing is impossible when you look from the right angle. This music is truly as glorious now as it was back then!
I should frame this comment.
Well, that turned into the most epic breakfast I have ever eaten. How thrilling!
Isn't it great how the most mundane activity can turn into an epic quest with the right music playing in the background? 🔥

It's an honour and a pleasure, and it's incredibly rewarding to know that so many people all around the world still enjoy the beauty of classical music!

There is a LOT of excellent music out there, that is excellent for different reasons than classical music.
But classical music simply stands far above almost everything ever composed. Including polyphonic church music. Just my own preference.
@@1man211crazy how some people can’t respect modern music no matter how good it is
Imagine hearing this for the first time when it was composed 😮❤😢
Considering how incredible it still feels today, back then it must have been mind-blowing! 🤯
I sang Dies Irae as a 1st bass in a choir 500 strong once with a full orchestra. Ive never experienced classical music slapping so hard before. It was truly an insane experience.
That sounds incredible!

Classical music never goes out of style. Absolutely timeless 💖
Yeah, you could call them real ... Classics 😂
Classic never dies, but it is not in style right now. Pop and Rap music is , sadly, the style of this era. In style is what is "in" .
@@fckprc8149 Not true, not necessarily. It can also mean to be striking, elegant or outstanding.
@@fckprc8149 rap music prrtftt 🤣
Not in europe.
And Classic stil sort of exist.. only in this new era beethoven plays a synthesizer instead of piano..
@@DenSchimmige Look at what brings in the most money in the west. Europe still buys lots of hiphop. Metal without distortion sounds like classic more often than not. EDM sounds like a shite and most of those artists can't even play an instrument. That is an insult to classical music what you're doing here.
I don't know what I would do working now on my deadline without your music in the background! Thank you Halidon Music so much! 😄
Our pleasure! We're happy to provide the right soundtrack to help you get things done 💪🔥
I love how you kick it off with the exact piece that came to mind when I saw this thumbnail. Vivaldi was a monster, and let’s not forget even slightly predated Bach
Vivaldi especially was making metal before metal was even a thing. I am surprised his Folia did not make it into the list, because that finale is harder than a lot of today's black metal songs.
black metal could be the hardest metal genre out there if they'd just use decent recording equipment.
@@o15523Black metal better when raw.
Vivaldi and Avenged Sevenfold 💀✨❤️ If you make a playlist of JUST them 👀. 👌🏻🤟🏼
I had the chance to see Vivaldi’s Four Seasons live in Wien, and it was absolutely metal
That's a life-altering experience! 🤘
In karlskirche? Amazing experience.
@@limbotoobobo yes, my wife and I accidentally scored front row tickets, and yes it was amazing!
@@HALIDONMUSIC it was awesome
Dude what was Vivaldi like? How old are you?
Before metal there was just brass.
Indubitably 🧐🔥
I think you meant...... before there was metal (brass is a metal alloy) there was wood, sinew and horse hair ❤
I didn't look at the tracklist, just listened to it while reading. After a while, I looked and saw that the video was almost over and I was extremely upset at not hearing Dvorak Symphony no.9. Thank god you just decided to save the best for last since that composition absolutely SLAPS!
Wow, yeah it almost sounds like I’m on a freaking adventure!
Agreed, the fourth movement is an absolute banger!
We played that in high school!
Upon discovering this playlist, I almost commented that Dvorak must be on here. I'm barely in the first quarter of the playlist. Glad to know I'm right!
Truly the best music to battle your evil master on the moon to
The guy in the painting looks like he's about to fight that tree
Dost thou even hoist? He says to it, completely obliterated on absinthe
My good sir! Thou art has rocker'd thy miters! Very good!
ive headbanged to some of these before. now i know i am not alone.
You absolutely aren't, jeydomo! Here at Halidon Music, headbanging to classical pieces is an everyday thing 🤘
This is awesome! Would love to see these works included in future playlists for "hardcore" classical music:
1. "Mars" from Holst's "The Planets;" what I imagine hardcore classical music to be
2. Vesuvius, Frank Ticheli; is this considered classical?
3.Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral; starts off slowly, but the buildup is worth it
4. Finale from Stravinsky's Firebird Suite; purely epic music
Franz Liszt ,Tottentanz
"The Planets" is one of the best
Great list! I'd add Brahms second piano concerto (second movement). That gets pretty dark pretty quick.
Thank you for the awesome suggestions! As a music label we can only feature the recordings we own in our compilations, but we're constantly working towards expanding our catalogue and recs are absolutely welcome 🤗
Mars is also one of the most iconic, influential pieces ever written! Many movies ripped it off, including Star Wars. Quite a few bands too. Off the top of my head, the songs Am I Evil? by Diamond Head and The Reign ov Shemsu Hor by Behemoth blatantly ripped it off at the start. Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath too, but it's not as obvious.
It is another level of beauty to listen to an orchestra performing live in a beautiful concert hall.
Baroque and Roll
The four seasons make me feel like im an evil mastermind and my plan has just come to fruition as i waltz around my flat with a whiskey in my hand 😂😅

Oh Winter for sure it's my phone tone 😂
Paintings colour space, music colours time. Some music, however, is timeless.
"Cast thine eyes yonder upon mine fists"
"Taste mine pugilist hands"
"I shall make thee consume the earth beneath thine feet"

Beautiful Music and Compilation.
So many classic hip hop anthems use classical snippets they sample from. So yes, classical can go hard, and can get very sinister as well.
I don't think it needs to be used in hip hop to go hard. And in most of those cases, the hip hop song only goes hard because the classical samples they use.
Not that I hate hip hop, I have discovered I have a liking for classic hip-hop, the 90s stuff in particular. I don't always agree with the message, but the underground east coast stuff is legit art, in my opinion. There is a great channel that only does underground classic hip-hop, his name is Nicola Armellin I believe, and he has really great taste, and access to an enormous amount of obscure old records and tapes. I thought I hated "rap music" until I found that channel a couple of years ago. French language hip-hop from the 90s? Sure. Great mixes.
I'd better not be the only one having bugs bunny flashbacks 😂😂

Throughout symphonies and concertos, I alone am the orchestrated one. -Vivaldi
some others i suggest
Holst - Mars
Mahler - Resurrection symphony 5th movement (excerpts), Symphony #10 first movement (excerpts)

Shostakovich - symphony #8 - 3rd movement.
Orff - O Fortuna
Richard Strauss - Alpine Symphony - Storm
Modest Mussorgsky - Pictures at an exhibition - Baba Yaga

Great collection! I'm surprised that the finale of Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" is not included - but then again, I'm sure there are many deserving pieces that couldn't be included without making this 8 hours long.
