Jags fan here, have to say that I love this guy, not like he’s the second coming, but you can’t help but root for this guy. He’s got a great attitude, stays cool under pressure, and has a great arm. He’s the perfect fit for the Jags, the fans love him, he fits perfectly in Duuuval!!!
He doesn't have a Great arm, but he is playing his socks off. That is for sure. I have to bring back Foles when he's healthy. The dude has beaten Tom Brady on the biggest stage and that's where we want to go right?

@@marshawnlynch6244 Heyyy "Marshawn"! A Seahawks guy here!.... In hindsight, regarding your comment, Foles looked nowhere near Tom Brady's level in 3 starts last year, after injury. Fortunately for Jags, Minshew will "keep on playing his socks off" in 2020. Can't wait!!
@@michaelfabian3036 Foles needs time to throw, Minshew scrambles. With the Jags Oline, Minshew appears better, but I still think Foles will play well in the league again at some point.
Minshew magic already is the number one sold jersey of the 2019 season.
From Washington state and follow the Huskies and Cougars closely. After watching him at WSU, I knew this dude has what it takes to be a starting QB in the NFL. He's got toughness, grit, determination and passion for the game. Doesnt surprise me that he's gaining this kind of success early on in his career. Not sure what his future holds in the league, but I'm sure its gonna be a bright one for him.
I like this guy because of his underdog story. I always root for the underdog
WTF, HOWWW could 3 people ~ or anyone, for that matter~ NOT "like" this CBS piece, his journey & what he has to say ~ basically, WHO the guy is?!! It's unconscionable ....... He's encapsulating in 4 minutes what SO much of life is really about. Good for us all to stop & ponder, embrace, and feel inspired by!
Michael Fabian WSU alum here. This is the best Gardner video I've seen so far. This is who us Cougs know and love. We adore this man. He is nice to everyone and appreciates this NFL opportunity. Kind of a tough loss today against the Panthers, but he will learn from it and work on winning the next one. And Minshew Mania is fun!

Yeah, what a year: 6 wins & 12 starts~and playing 14 games!! Some "rough patches" naturally, as a rookie: the Carolina & 1st Houston "nail~biters", the hard losses to NOLA, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston in London, & LAChargers; BUT, the kid's only gonna get stronger & smarter, read defenses better, etc...etc....I'm a Seahawks guy, over here in Seattle, but definitely Jags are catching on as my new AFC team to follow! And lastly, significantly, we can most likely "read into" the Jags unloading their OC last year, "Flip"~a.k.a., DeFilippo, that they are committed to Minshew's development~they have a stake in him! (otherwise they would've kept "Flip", as he was Foles' QB coach the '17 SB year in Philly) So it's looking hopeful & you know Gardner's gonna "bust his tail" training & improving this offseason. Excited for 2020!! Y'all WSU folks take good care & we'll watch along together Jags training camp & beyond! ~MIKE

Johnny McCollum WSU alum here. It's OK to like him. He really is this guy in the video. He came to Pullman after our QB tragically died and completely won our hearts. Nicest guy ever and embraced our school and gave us the ride of our lives. I've been a Coug since 1975 and last season was the most fun I've ever has cheering for our team. And the fact that he is a starting QB for the Jags in the NFL is amazing. He's earned it and will never take it for granted. And I'm thrilled he's making some $$$ now. I just hope he stays healthy. This is the big leagues now.

David D WSU alum here. He really is. This is the best portrayal of Gardner I've seen so far. This is the guy that we came to love in Pullman. We had so much fun with him as our QB. He lights up the football field with his talent, enthusiasm, leadership and charm. And he embraced Pullman and became one of our own. And he's super nice. The fact that he is now the starting QB for the Jags in the NFL couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy. And so exciting!

As a jags fan I love this guy.
I can see the potential, but someone needs to 'awaken' him, like I did to Aaron rogers: In the brett farve era, the wind blew a tree over in front of my friends house. He and I went over to remove it from the street, and here Aaron rogers jogs by and helps us pick it up out of the street. My friend says "Woah, you're Aaron rogers." and Aaron rogers was like "Yep." and shook his hand. He then says 'yo, you wanna shake his hand?!' and I was like 'nah, no thanks.' But after Aaron started jogging away again, my friend asked me why i didn't wanna shake. I said 'he sucks.' and I saw Aaron turn his head around to glance at me, i think he heard me. From then on, he went on with a chip on his shoulders to win the superbowl a few years later.
