I love deathbringer it's like a mini Nova bomb super, it's godly. You just gotta know how to use it and have good prediction.

Deathbringer recently received an exotic catalyst that doubled the ramp up speed of dark decent, making it incredibly strong. It’s damage hasn’t actually changed but it hits far harder in most scenarios because the orbs don’t need to fall very far to reach max damage. This makes it a very high tier weapon and one of the top damage dealers in the game, and quite an easy one to pick up compared to something like anarchy

Monte Carlo with upper tree solar on a wizard with sunbracers makes for a great melee/grenade build with almost unlimted grenades and melee along with some great air time. I have had some great fun with this gun and the sunbracers. I get a lot of flack from my friends about running Monte Carlo but i find it great fun. Never was much of a melee guy but this has changed my mind.
Oggie Doggie you dont even need monte carlo with that build since you get melee back on like 3 airborne kills

Best combined with the AoE/DoT Solar grenade to melt EVERYTHING. OWN PvE and PvP with the Ascending Sun build (What OP suggested above).

I am so with you on that. My primary build right now centers around monte carlo and sunbracers but need to be dropping some orbs instead of switching off to my energy pulse

I used Monte Carlo so much in D1 that it basically felt like an extension of my guardian so I’m excited to try to get one for myself

For real, you can combo some mental dps with this thing as a hunter, it's probably my favorite exotic this last month

@@baltazar514 I run blades and you can combo your rockets with your super really nicely. I start by firing two rockets over a bosses head (dodging to fast reload), then hitting them with a super. The timing usually works out so that all of that damage is hitting them at the same time. Then once I'm out of the super I hit em with the fan of knives and grenade and by then my dodge should be back to reload and hit them with more rockets. Might sound long winded but I consistently get double my teammates boss damage doing this
Deathbringer is sneeeaky good in the crucible too, I got my rocket launcher iron banner quest step done in one game with it.

I got my Monte from the Exotic Engram at Xur because it was then one of the exotics that could drop if you didn't have it, which came during one of the games updates recently.

It’s funny I love using the leviathans breath for nightfalls. People probably think I’m a blueberry but I use a firing line sniper as my dps machine
if i do a matchmade 920 nightfall i always pick leviathans breath bc it happens way to often that some blueberries rush in with recluse and mountaintop or something else completley forgetting about the champions. with leviathan i can fight 2 champion types and still have one slot for a preffered gun e.g recluse or else

I’m using your melee shotgun build with my hunter. Liers handshake, python and Monte Carlo. When using a heavy exotic I got myself a steel feather repeater with swashbuckler and multi kill clip ;) is much fun. Thanks!

If you use death bringer as a regular launcher (yes I get it, that defeats the purpose) then it melts prime evils, strike bosses, and nightmares incredibly quickly.
Just aim Center mass and if you miss then use deliverance.
A good combo that i discovered is montecarlo and martyrs redemptiom, you use the agresive frame and the handling of montecarlo let you finish your enemy cause the fast draw of montecarlo. Try it!

Me and my friend where having a mayhem 1v1 and we learned that if a titan is in a bubble you can shoot them through the bubble and knock them out of the bubble. It doesn’t do damage but it’s still pretty cool
has anyone tested how much u get(ammo) with hive armaments, or any of the other armament mods?
We need a catalyst for Monte Carlo and a seasonal mod slot and it's use will skyrocket

Really happy that I got a Monte Carlo drop... Right before my first Peregrine Greaves.
Monte Carlo used to be my go-to weapon back in vanilla/TTK Destiny, along with my sunsinger warlock, as its melee granted an overshield. With the D2 beta I found out there wasn't sunsinger anymore so I felt "betrayed", then the game came out and there was no Monte Carlo as well, so I clearly refused to buy it.
NOW, the weapon is back, the game is f2p on steam, so I gave it a try and ended up playing 300 hours of D2 (and got the dlcs as well). I have to say I'm having tons of fun in chill pve activities using top-tree dawnblade, Monte Carlo, sunbracers and all the armor mods that immediately refill my class abilities. While nothing will replace that "tank" build I used back in D1, this new one, which basically could be renamed "death from above" is really a fun experience all thanks to a loved returning weapon!
Weapons have a icon on the profile picture, if you look closely, a weapon for example optative (hand canon) its from the vex offences. It would have a vex head icon. Or another, “The Vow” (bow) its from Crimson days, such as this months current season event.
Monte Carlo goes great with sun bracers if your a warlock. Sun braces give you unlimited grenades after a melee ability kill. If your melee ability is constantly being recharged then you constantly have unlimited grenades.
Leviathans breath got me to legend in comp 3 times that’s my baby
I can’t queue up gambit without using Xeno. Absolutely worth the time put into the quest

my strategy for deciding which exotics to prioritize is all of them
If you have the Sunbracers you can combine it with the Monte Carlo for a grenade focused build that needs literally no points in discipline

I use Deathbringer regularly for non-pinnacle content, and I honestly think it could be amazing with some adjustments.
If the projectiles moved faster and tracked more aggressively, and the stupid falling mechanic was just removed entirely in favor of just good, flat damage, it could be an amazing utility weapon.
Shooting it into a zone that's too hot to go into from cover is a great way to do damage to adds.
Also, did you know this is the only rocket launcher in the game that does ZERO damage to you if you shoot it at your feet? So you can be running away from something, panic shoot the ground and keep running, and it'll cluster on them.
ALSO also, if you shoot it right at the feet of a major, sometimes it will literally pick them up and launch them into the air like a bottle rocket.
It's a fun and goofy gun to use, if you just don't use it the way it was designed to be used, which is a huge shame.
deathbringer on control is the best thing ever...i've been getting easy double/triple kills just shooting it over a flag where the other team is capping
Hey cHaDkIs, I just got the steelfather god roll, you know feeding frenzy and multi kill clip. I just got really excited and thought you should know.
I like slideways and vorpal wepion (mayhaps not slideways cause I don't slide a lot but it's still great as a auto rifle)
Mine has feeding frenzy and the second perk can switch between swashbuckler and multikill clip
If you hit every orb of deathbringer from the right height it does the highest single shot damage out of all weapons in the game

Leviathans breath and Monte Carlo are Undying weapons. Check out the logo on the weapons.....Should’ve just included Erianas Vow since that’s the only missing exotic.
I love the Monte Carlo, I combine it Top tree Warlock Dawnblade, Sunbracers, molten overload + disrupted spike. Great for ad clear and tick dmg for a boss before unloading the heavy.
I also use the Leviathan’s Breath for Nightfall Ordeals. Allows me to bring Disruption, Barrier pen, and a special weapon like a sniper.
Finally someone who knows what i am talking about. That is a fun build with almost unlimited grenades and melee. The only thing that is missing is a catalyst so can generate orbs
Personally, the death bringer is pretty fun to play around because I can just aim to the sky run around for a few seconds and release. Idk it is just fun to use

Basically just infinite no-cooldown grenades.
i Love Monte Carlo... i Run it with Ophidia Spata and Middle Path Solar Hunter for PvE... its Realy Great for Yellow Bars or Destroying Shields with the Knifes... and with the Monte Carlo you can Throw all day long Knifes... even Bottom path Solar Hunter for 2 One Shot Kinfes in PvP is nice...
I love Xenophage it's my favorite toy atm

Honestly Leviathans breath isn't bad at all on bosses. I one phased Dul Incaru Solo in the shattered throne with LB. I love it for raid and strike bosses

Same here I run deathbringer with Hallow fire heart stacked with 2 rocket launcher reserve mods racking me 8 rockets and melting point as long as you don't use your super melting point will just keep recharging non-stop and you can just shred
Or you can run lord of wolves with wendigo er3 with grenade launcher reserves giving you 21 shots and hallowfire heart melting point and destroy and it's even better if you have the lord of wolves catalyst like I do just for more insane primevil dps

Yup, I don’t even get mad and I get surprised murdered by it unlike Truth. Truth is an cowardly invader’s rocket launcher, Deathbringer is a clever invader’s rocket launcher.

Personally I would've put Leviathans Breath above Xenophage just for the one tap to the body on supers in the crucible. Fully charge that bad boy up, fire at a super and it deletes them. But all in all great video mang! 👍
This list isnt only for crucible while levis breath is good in crucible it is terrible in comparison ty o xeno in pve

I don't agree with the deathbringer part, I think you just have to know how to use it. I had my first quad kill in Gambit and I basically always hit those "perfect shots" it's just getting used to.

Not gonna lie, the leviathan’s breath is sop underrated I main that thing currently season of the worthy and it one shots any super/invaders great in pvp if you know what your doing!
Used The Mountaintop and Xeno in a master nightfall ordeal last night. It did very well. Definitely need machine gun scavenger or power weapon scavenger to get the full benefit. I’m a fan.
