At first I rolled my eyes at the title, but after hearing the story, it actually works perfectly with the main character’s dry sarcasm!
That's how it is with all the stories that he chooses it can be called a bigfoot story and end up a mafia skinwalker story or some shit I love it😂

With how the wife treats him and their daughter I am surprised he did not just tell Luke good luck hope you enjoy spending time with my wife let me know when you are ready to bring her home.
That would have been a better conclusion, at least he would have been somewhat redeemable by the end. I was really hoping he died of blood loss and grandma gave the daughter a wonderful life...

His wife was threatening to divorce and take custody of her, the wife who never spent time with her and never bothered to get a job, who would rather drink all day than do anything at all. What do you the wife would have spent the child support money on? Certainly not her daughter.
The real and most terrifying monster of this story was the deadbeat wife. She was the reason the whole situation was happening he would have called off if she were not so terrible to be around.

Yeah and she wouldn't leave the house when he called and warned her to leave so it was her fault damn after a miserable experience and relationships the story was quite satisfying and it was so funny when he said that was the first argument he would ever won with her it makes so much sense now that I'm at a certain age

Amazing story. No lazy writing, no stupid actions without reason, no annoyances and the characters however fictional felt real.
Also it is quiet rare for an horror story to feature both a basement and an attic. It may be a minor detail, but I really like that a lot.
And another extra props to how the police was written.

I like the more complicated and morally grey stories the most, where not every monster is recognisable by the first glance. Well done.

I kinda get the peeing thing. If your facing just real world horrors lots of people pee them selves. But unnatural horrors outside of our understanding would make even more people pee then selves

Okay the whole story was very intriguing but towards the end now this is spoiler alerts if anybody's reading the comments before they watch it when he shot his wife and then says "that's the first time I won an argument with her" I kind of chuckled 😄
Driving trucks on the road late at night. Sometimes you can see some weird stuff. Then you think to yourself “I should go to sleep“
I was sure until the end that it wasn’t a costume, but a curse, and the moment he kills the predator, he becomes the monster.
I am 99% sure emergency calls are always followed up on whether they think its a prank or not.
If it is a prank they at least get to superman punch the prankster.
That's why it's always a crazy white guy with 3 more rifles than he needs. Brings desired results from your emergency call.
It is actually required that emergency services send someone to an address given/location called from, even if they suspect a prank call.
@@yharleththegrandobserver236 yup 100% I called 911 at 4 maybe 5 years only and told the 911 operator it was because they didn't get pizza and they send two cops to do a warfare check. Was one of the good things from my early childhood come to think of it I'm pretty sure they gave we a plastic badge.

Ive driven through the MD and PA border area while its been snowing hard af before and this story felt super nostalgic to me. Thankfully i didnt get stuck in my tiny ford focus at the time. I was hunkered down at an isolated gas station hanging with the cashier having warm on the house coffee at 2am.
Ive always thought about writing a creepypasta about being snowed in at a remote gas station from this experience.
You should check out the gas station creepy pastas. They are great. You should definitely write about your own experience. It sounds interesting.

One of the first stories I wasn’t using to fall asleep and was genuinly listening. Holy moley man. That ending. So all of the sudden but you could feel it about to come to fruition when the argument was going on

I've personally had ride the lightning and master of puppets ringtones myself. But more than just the music, this entire story really hit home for me.
