That was great seeing it in action. Going to buy one of these as the Kiravans version is £298. :)
Just purchased one for my trafic x83 LWB. It is a doddle to fit, with only having to trim the rubber lip of my battery cover. I didn't have to cut the mat which was a bonus. All I used was a T50 Torx, 17mm socket, 17mm spanner, stanley knife, flat headed screwdriver and a little beef.
1. Removed the pretensioner socket using a flat headed screwdriver
2. Removed the 5 torx bolts, placed the swivel plate where the seat was and used the same 5 torx bolts to attach to the floor(didn't need the bolts provided).
3. You have to loosen the swivel plate and turn it 90 degrees so you can insert the bolts. Once tightened swivel back to its original position
4. Remove the 4x17mm nuts, before plonking the seat over the 4 bolts, reattach the 17mm nuts.
Done.

Any danger setting off the air bags or seat belt pre-tensioners when fitting? Can the ignition be turned on when the cable under the seat is disconnected?
Shouldn't be any issue with airbags. Never had an issue. I just disconnected the pre tensioner as seen in the vid when fitting. I have forgotten on quite a few occasions to re connect the cable and van drives fine. Its just displays light and "check airbag" message.
Hi. Fitted one of these bases this weekend, I can't fit the battery cover flooring because it hits the base, looks like it needs trimming off. Did you do this or have you mounted the swivel base on top of that bit of flooring? T.I.a
Hi, I didnt have to trim any of the main flooring (with foam back) it fitted fine. As you can see in the vid i have the rubber feet matt on top of the flooring which i did have to trim. Need a to trim a bit more really.
Hi Ian.. 2 years later and I have found this comment. I am having the exact same problem today. Did you manage to resolve it? The seat swivel interferes with my battery floor cover. I'm not getting much help from Custom Shop Designs. Many thanks, Harrison.
How did you do the bolt at the back right? Im trying to fit the same swivel base but access to the back right bolt is covered by the seat frame
The back right should be a welded bolt sticking up out of the base so the seat should just sit onto this then fit the large washer then the nut. There is access to this as the seat frame is open on the side that faces the handbrake. Just use a ring spanner to tighten the nut. Hope that helps.
Hi really useful. Sorry if you've already answered this. Is your trafic newer than 2014 if you don't mind me asking? A lot of the seats don't work for trafic or vivaro older than that

That electrical connector will develop a fault after a few actions, best replace it with a proper plug and socket.

Hello people. I will need help. Do you know if it is possible to change the seats from other year. I have opel vivaro 2018, and i found a seat from opel vivaro 2010, is it possible? thanks for yor help.
Not 100% sure am sorry i think the chassis is slightly different on newer model. Best thing to do is ask on the vivaro facebook groups.
Just ordered one of them but looking at my seats the bottom frame is different mine is a metal box

@@chr152pher Strange, the double seat should be the same as in the vid. If your on FB then join one of the TVP chat and Advice groups. Its easier to upload a pic of your seat and chat about the issue.

@@chr152pher ahh so the new style seat has been fitted? Interesting, wonder if its a direct fit. That might be an issue then for your double swivel

we have had one fitted, but it doesn't lock in right its a nightmare to turn and lock back in again, and when the cable id disconnected and you forget to plug it back in ,it puts a code up for service and fault for seat belt. Ive tried and so as the garage and the light would go out, all because of this silly seat.
very strange that, still got mine and working well. If i forget to connect cable it shows up on dash with "check airbag" but I can connect cable at any time the fault clears. What year is your van?
