n55 is for those who don't whant to put to mutch money in to theyr car and are happy with around 400hp. n54 is for those who whant to build a proper car and whant to spend money on upgrades

I love these cars I was considering to get one but I heard many stories of them been unreliable.
Just buy a M2 LCI with the N55 motor. Awesome sound with the performance exhaust.
What stories did u hear on them being unreliable?
You drive a 350z and you are worried about reliability.

Dont get me wrong I love those 135's but I do drive long distances and dont want that N54 to fail on me.
But I will get one as an second car.
@@Ben_Z33 I could never be comfortable driving a car that drinks oil long distances. 350z’s are notorious for their terrible reliability

Yea, my n55 sounded great but the n54 is much more fun
I simply straight piped my n55 from the turbos back. Pops super loud and sounds great.
N55= More reliable
N54= More fun (reacts to tunes better)

I'll agree I have an n54 and it performs astoundingly. But they sound like a fart machine
1 and 2 series BMW body style looks ugly I like the 3 and up looks alot nicer.
