The Rav4 is a great car. Best of Luck with it. I know how you feel, My 2022 Toyota Tacoma took 3 months to get. The Tacoma (like the Rav4) is not easy to get. That was back in January of 2022, at the height of the "supply chain" issues. Toyota was doing fine early on in the pandemic compared to say Honda, GM, and Volkswagen, but it didn't last long. The dealer I went to was going to charge me $3500 for a mark up. I was lucky enough to have a good negotiator with me (my brother) to get them to take that off.
Congratulations on your new SUV we love it. We love it so much we bought a 2023 XSE RAV4 Hybrid Calvary blue with a black top and panoramic view sunroof. Supposed to get it at the end of August.

Your blue is a pretty color, but you said you’re not good about washing your car and don’t want to use the mechanical car wash so much. A dark-colored car will be difficult to keep looking clean. You can wash it in the morning and by afternoon you can see a layer of dust on it or any fingerprint or water spot-much more than a white or light-colored car. I’ve had both in my lifetime and it’s quite a big difference. I got my 2023 RAV4 in June and I’m loving it. 😊
Congrats! It looks great in blue. It might require a wash more often than white or grey...I owned a Mazda in that blue and it showed every speck of dust. Hard work to keep it shiny yet I loved shampooing it. I am researching the top trim level FWD 2.0 VX RAV4 in my country, but Toyota's website really sucks. And I don't want to engage dealers yet....and I don't want hybrid, either.
Thanks for sharing. I have been shopping for cars too. I have a 2007 LTD RAV4 and I want to upgrade to the new rav4. But my husband wanted me to try and look at the new corolla cross hyrid. We reserved it early this year and still not available. I wanted a specific car. But the dealer notified me they have a S model CC and if I want it. I was like S is a base model and not all the feature I want is on there. But he still reserved it for me to check it out and if I dont want it I can go back to my original order. And you are right, we are the consumer and we want specific featured because we are paying. We dont compromuse just because the dealer pressuring us to just take what they have. 🙄 Anyhoo. Now that I watched your video I think I really just go ahead with what I really want to get. And its the RAV4. 😁 Not gonna listen to hubby. 🤭
i looooove the blue print in the limited trim with the extra chrome bits. i have an XSE in cavalry blue so it has the black accents which i love with that blue. I love having a panoramic sunroof in mine! I went from having no sunroof to a giant one. I love. Where did you get your key fob cover? It's beautiful. So happy for you! I also love the black interior! 🥰

Like the color. We have a car on order. I had three colors I would accept. Your blue was my top pick. Like the look. The dealership had a black one they expect in 6 to 8 weeks. And that was my 2nd pick. So I'm good with it. I had 3 colors I didn't want. Looking forward to mine. Untill then I got to live the Rav4 dream watching your review. I didnt mind my wait it fits when i want the car. Several of the dealerships have all told me what's shown online have been spoken for..
You will have to wait and call around for the car you want. I was able to get the car I wanted with the color I wanted. Pearl white RAV4 Prime XSE with the Premium tech package.!
This was very helpful. I am looking for the XSE Hybrid with tech package in Cavalry Blue. Every dealer I have called so far (in Ontario) is telling me a different expected date of delivery, from 8 months to over a year. I think calling them all makes sense
I have the 21 RAV4 LE FWD in ruby flare pearl n I got my used n I’m using mine for Uber and Lyft for the space luggage for the customers n taking my mom places n getting back n forth to my job! N the auto lights is actually is for the high beams I know I have the same thing in my RAV4
Congratulations. How did you secure exactly what you wanted? Most dealers will say you may not get exactly what you want but something similar. They say this because the car brand gives each dealership a certain amount of incoming vehicles. So you just called around to see which dealership had that trim with those specific options/packages? Okay, I'll do that. Thanks for the info.
What I did is I looked at a map and state by state I searched for all of the Toyota dealerships. On each dealership website, I looked to see if they had any RAV4 Limited vehicles on their website, and if they did I looked to see what options and packages it had (if I could see that information, if I couldn’t I would just call and see if it was available and what it had). It took a long time and a lot of patience, but it was worth it in the end! 😊
Thanks a lot. I'm in the works of trying to buy one and they seem to be rare. I know the new model is expected later this year but I love the current generation. I love the lines of it and I want the top trim also. For me, it'll be a long time coming. I'll start my homework this weekend. Thanks again and enjoy.

Yes! They are awesome! They don’t blow air extremely hard, but you can definitely feel it. They have been amazing this summer!
