While theres like .00001% chance for it, i'd be over the moon for a SHMA version of these. As for him being Jr...I love that idea. It makes since as to why he looks different as well. All that radiation from papa G, had to twist him a bit. Heck, I don't think he even took a scratch...
I hate to ruin the fun, but gemstone goji is most likely NOT Jr. I can state the evidence or “theories” that disprove the theories that Gemstone Goji is Jr. However I’m just gonna wait until someone asks.
These designs are very unique, we got a red space chicken. Godzillas skin design reminds me of Shin for some reason. Hope you didn't stub your toe kicking the box they came in 😂😂
Know im late but I wanna say this: The creator of vs Gigan Rex actually designed shin godzilla, so ur not wrong. (Plus gemstone g was used for Snow godzilla, so GVG and GR (And now vs megalon) aren't the only times this design was used.)
Both of them look amazing 🤩. This Godzilla very similar to Heisei Godzilla, i love it 😄. Gigan Rex look fantastic because first time ever Gigan in red 🔴 coloration, made this Gigan the far different among Gigan that i know 🙂. Great job, Steven 🤗.
These are not better then the ride figures. Godzilla does have very nice detail, but the paint is way too little. They couldn’t bother to paint the outermost row of dorsal fins. The paint stop at the tail is horrendous and it’s just a massive color change and it’s too noticeable, maybe less so off camera but I don’t know. Gygan is much better the paint is good, although still lacking Part. Overall I’d say these are worse then the ride figures though. I will likely be getting these still because 80 to get them from Japan isn’t too bad and this is the only representation of them we have.

I think my point isn't conveyed correctly in your comment; I sold the Godzilla because I didn't care for the design to hold on to the MMS, and though I'll keep Ghidorah, I'd rather SHMA for those two. For these two, it hits a level juuuuuust enough where if we don't get them, I'm fine with that. Also, complexity =\= good, it's all about execution. Yes, Godzilla could have been better and I acknowledge... That... I'm summarizing my review here why am I doing that.

If you take a closer look at gigan's scales they are the same that are on the usj Ghidorah aka shin Ghidorah figure so in a way gigan rex is also shin gigan.🤔
