I love how you create texture with such thin layers, it is making me rethink how thick I paint. You use a lot of white wash but your paintings are never muddy. I really appreciate the share and inspiration..

Bin gerade in der Umsetzung.....merke aber immerwieder, dass mir Erfahrung u Grundkenntnisse fehlen sowie auch Begrifflichkeiten....zb. wenn du etwas mit einem "Medium" verdünnst? Was meinst du genau? Wie lange soll die Folie zwischendurch drauf bleiben? Habe anstatt Brennspiritus 32%Alkohol genommen...wird das was? LG Antje
Danke, Antji, mit Medium meine ich ein Acryl-Malmittel oder Acrylbinder. Die Folie muss so lange darauf bleiben, bis die Strukturen darunter sich beim Abheben der Folie nicht mehr verändern. Alkohol funktioniert um so besser, je hochprozentiger er ist. Ich nehme oft Brennspiritus.
Schönes Bild, lässt Du eigentlich die Arbeit nach der ersten Zufallsschicht eine Weile liegen oder machst Du es gleich fertig, weil der Film ja drängelt?
hallo Gerda - ich war länger "raus" - nun habe ich wieder Kraft und Lust. nun stehe ich am 2. Schritt..... ich habe die ganze Zeit das Gefühl, ich übermale all die schönen Strukturen, die entstanden sind...aber dem ist ja wohl nicht so.....muss ich wohl Mut haben und nur sehr dünnes weiß drüber streichen? - und ist das eine Küchenrolle, mit der du zwischendurch drübergehst?
Hallo Lichtwerferin, in diesem Video verwende ich sehr dünne, transparente Farbschichten. Die Küchenrolle nimmt zuviel wässrige Farbe auf und ergibt, durch Ihre Perforation manchmal auch interessante Muster.

No, the paint is applied very thinly and you have to be very careful applying more paint or binder. The paint may resolve then. I will spray varnish it in the end
