The road is wherever these machines say it is.

Nice video too short. Wish loggers could afford videoographers. I logged out west in the 90s and sooo wish I had cellphone cameras back then. Some of the footage would have been great. We had vhs recorders and then a small 8 video camera. But too hard to run equipment and film. Some of the ground people logged or jobs people did.

At the very least at least chain another few logs you to the grapple. I would go insane pulling one log up at a time when the machine is definitely capable of more

An expensive way to log. 20 thousand dollar undercarriage almost once a year.

I assume the grade is steeper then it looks? if not that I'm not impressed...thinking about replacing our 700h with a 517 in the future

It constantly amazes me about the time, money, and effort that are wasted by people who don't know how to lay out logging blocks properly. A little planning and forethought saves huge money. No wonder loggers are going broke all the time. They get a grade 10 education and think brute horsepower is the answer to everything.

you have a dozer not a conventional rubber tire skidder I got an idea how about make a nice road with the dozer in 15 minutes before you skid logs
