  • More Family Fortunes now and we now join the Kirkhams and The Fosters to see who can get through to tonight's Big Money round. What's more is this is recorded off Central ITV and not from Challenge, so you will get the interviews before the game.

Good to see an original broadcast edition of Family Fortunes from 1998. Thank you for this upload Daniel :)

Good to see an episode of Family Fortunes without the completely pointless editing in the repeats on the Challenge Channel. We actually get the FULL opening titles here, and Les introducing the families!

Thank you John, I'm annoyed by that even though I did watch it when they were unedited at the time.

I would have liked to see them on Challenge as they were originally broadcast, especially for people who didn't see the original broadcast. If I had a part in making the shows, I would have probably got that into the contract for repeats on other channels.

Agree with you. Same with Take Your Pick, Strike it Lucky, Bullseye, Millionaire and Supermarket Sweep.

I do remember this edition of Family Fortunes from early 1998 Daniel Mullins. Such a shame that the Fosters missed out on the car at the end with the last answer, but at least they still went home with £5,339.

Do you have the original broadcast for the mid1998-2000 series? (If you can, upload that has the family who won the car)
even great if you have one from the 1991-1992.

Is this Central's actual tape or just a VHS recording somebody's done?

+Tomos Burton It's a VHS recording, One of the Foster's must've recorded it onto DVD and he was selling the original VHS at a car boot sale. I have also uploaded the news from that day.

I grew up with Les Dennis. I do think he did a good job. I also liked Max Bygraves as the host too.

The Central Cake seen at the start would disappear in two months time.
