It is worked from the center out and creates rectangular shape blanket. The length of the rectangle is easily adjusted by changing the length of the starting chain. The pattern includes more detailed info about this step. The pattern requires at least two highly contrasting colors.

I sew in the ends every time I have to change colors. For me that works prittier. Tomorrow I have to start part 2, hope I will manage

As this video is part of a paid pattern, I believe it should be reshot to include the oversite in row 5 and hiding the stitches from color changes to the beginning instead of starting in row 6.

she waits until row 6 to tell us how to hide the threads when you are changing colors, so now I have to do all over!!!
Sorry you’re disappointed. If I’d shown it right at the beginning it makes it too difficult for many first learning this technique. Also, many watch the entire video for these “getting started” videos before actually starting so then you would know. Unfortunately no way to make a video that pleases everyone so I did my best according to what this designer asked me to show…

How did you attach the second colour? Just tie with a knot to the thread from colour 1? 😊

???In this design it looks like there are square tiles around the blanket.
Are these separate tiles which need to be sewn onto the body of the blanket, or are they stitched as part of the total blanket… no sewing.
(Hope this makes sense.)???
No sewing! Stitched in rounds, alternating colours (no yarn ends righter)

Not everyone can understand patterns, why no full tutorial. I was disappointed.

In row 5 she completely misses the starting corner stitches and goes to the corner front loop double. For more novice crocheters' this may be misleading.
Corner stitches were mentioned when looking at the chart for round 5. No different than previous rounds so it has been shown/established how to do those corner stitches already.

Has anyone completed this blanket for some reason when I get to No. 11 I’m one stitch short. I made sure I counted the rows as I went along. So did anyone have any issues.

Is there any easy way to figure out what the increase is per row ? I started with the 3 x16 start … I want to be sure I am getting my count correct

I have watched the entire video . I finish row 3 with 49 stitches on the long side. But when I do row 4 I’m not coming to the corner to do the drop down I’m 2stitches before the corner I have restarted 3 time just getting the same results
@@itscherylm are you part of the Facebook group by designer? That is the best place to get help as you can show a pic of your work and the designer or others can help determine what is happening.

I think Ravelry will show your currency. I’m in Canada and it shows under the price what it is in Canadian dollars. However I googled for you and it shows about $8.79 USD
