    I'am a chef and your Pinchos crawl is at the top on my list when I get to Logrono. Had that on my list, Calle del Laurel street. I'am glad you showed the street, gives me something to look forward to. Day off, good food wine, that's a good way to rejuvenate the body. Buen Camino

      Oh man, you HAVE to go. So much good food, made by people who have just been making the same dish over and over for years and years - true experts at the thing they make

    So THAT'S what kitty was shouting the whole time!
    He wanted to have a bite of the delicious Spanish treats

    We laughed so hard at the end when your cat said, "Pincho Crawl!" 😹 I now keep expecting it again and I end up saying it myself like how Josh did. You have to have it pop up sometime in a future video! 😽

    I know before I even start that I’m going to be a slow stroller. embrace it! Enjoy the culture, don’t race. Unless you’ve got a deadline who cares how long it takes you!

      Hhaha, we are definitely slow strollers for sure - we got called a diesel engine on the first day - slow moving, but we never stop. We do have some deadlines, but we figured that out :)

      I took 53 days which included 3 rest days. If I walk it again I would take even longer. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't want it to end. Buen camino for when you walk.

      @@KiwiPilgrim Awesome--we wished we had carved out more days for the Camino :) Buen Camino!

    Good to see you are finding your pace! Santiago is still a long way to go and a straight dash towards the goal is a waste of the journey :)

      Thanks - and yes, I think we're feeling much more positive about the experience now that we get to do it in our way, and not the "expected" way

    We plan on taking a rest day in Logrono next year. Is it hard to get up to the counter to order tapas and wine? Do you wait for them at the bar or go to your table and they bring them to you?

    • @LisaAndJosh
      @LisaAndJosh  Před 2 lety +1

      Nah - was super easy! Just walk on up, point at the thing you want, and then 1 minute later you'll have your pinchos and wine! There's no table service at any of them - all counter service. Also, you pay at the counter when you order, not before you leave :)

    A night just on that street looks great. I (but do “your” own thing) think ur doing it right. Make it fun. If it’s not fun why do it? Life’s too short.
