The true fangirl of BF has returned. Funkin' Against Anomalies got canned, but at least we got a Starecrown - Definitive Edition which improves every song & sprite of the old mod. You'll probably still need to be a Starecrown fan to like the mod. I'm a little bit confused about why the Frog knew us though, he spoke to us as if we fought him before. So Starecrown Week & Fred Week both got remastered. Newly updated sprites, new jumpscares sprites, voice improvements, songs remastered, new game-over dialogues, and a lore song in Freeplay.

For those that don't know, there was supposed to be a mod revolving around Starecrown's universe, and was going to be "Funkin' against the Anomalies" but due to this mod's huge scale that is beyond the team's capabilities, it's canned, but hey, at least we got the Edgecrown being back.

Starecrown was one of the first mods to ever give me this unsettled vibe. Glad it got a remake along with banger songs.
I love how stare crown isn't staring at bf all the time, his gaze sometimes shifts over to you as the person behind the screen. Good 4th wall break.

Before the jumpscare he does, at 4:53 he stops starin AT BF, and instead STARES DIRECTLY TO US, which means he is actually concious of the player and that he can do better than this, as he can try again till he gets it right
Honestly, I'm glad more and more creators are coming to realize they took on more work than they could handle and are scaling back. I'd rather hear about someone reducing their work to smaller, more fine-tuned creations than another team crashing and burning out because they're overworked and stressed.

What I find interesting about Starecrown, he’s not even malevolent. He’s just curious and wants to watch BF work his magic.
This mod is like a straight up classic. I'm always all for more Starecrown content especially when it gets a new coat of paint! This mod has come so far and I absolutely love it as much as the old version. I'm glad that it's getting attention and love again. I really love this mod!

Man, after 2 years, this old mod is back, glad it got a remake and the songs are still a banger.
Let me explain a part of "Outwards In":
During the static part, a character named Banana Demon "which is a bounty hunter hired by Fred the Frog" had to kill Starecrown, but Starman "not to be confused with that powerup from mario, also if you want to know how does he look like, imagine Lemon Demon but with a star head instead of a lemon" stopped him in his tracks and shredded him.

He did it specifically after BF first turn and after he started screaming, not at our last solo section.

FINALLY THE REMASTERED OF THIS MOD IS FINALLY HERE! AND ITS BACK!! This is looks so much better than old mod in 2021. Glad we finally have a remastered mod, the arts, vocals, even BF voice are better, and songs are better. Everything in this remastered mod is so much better

I still remember the original like it was yesterday. Man he was so creepy back then (still is) but I’m glad he’s back. I’ve slowly been liking creepy things and Starecrown is one of them.
It looks like they removed the fact that in the first song during the silence, Starecrown used to stare at the player.

I'm a little sad that Anomalies couldn't happen, but I'm extremely glad the creators continue to work with their product instead of abandoning the whole thing and running away.
The new sprites and backgrounds look great. I love the new dialogue boxes and the reverb on Starecrown's dialogue sound. I'm not sure how I feel about the revamped Frogsong, I feel like some parts are better but other parts would be better in the old version. But overall, this is a great mod!

Operation Frogsong goes surprisingly hard as well! I also love that Lore Remix.
technically speaking, by sticking to smaller scale FNF mods, they can create fnf vs the anomalies one fnf mod at a time, and then eventually combine them, but just starecrown is good too
After 2 years it finally came out!
I was too busy looking at the notes and bf, but then I look catch a glance of 4:16 from the corner of my eye and it freaking made my heart leap. Miss starecrown though, it's been a long while and I love every bit of this!

I remember playing that mod when it was still v1 I was surprised by the second version and now here we are good job devs of this terrific masterpiece
All of the songs got updated and with a lore remix makes this essentially a remake of the old mod and I'm happy this got remade cause the og mod was one of the few things in fnf that was scary so neat also hope more old school mods get updated
I remember how spammy all of the song and out of tune (in a terrifying way) on the OG version so badly.
Seeing this is just cool. I miss all of the old mods in FNF such as this one.

Holy hell the Starecrown parts are so much better now! Now it's actually a song on its own, not just a bunch of jumbled up sounds over a background song. The frog ones feels like a nerf imo though, but cool to see it gets an update too.
