I'm still driving my 2006 Town and Country and love it to death! Runs like a top, easy and cheap to repair. In 14 years, I have only broke down once and it was in front of my driveway. A/C is ice cold, no rust anywhere. Just a sweet vehicle. Owned a Grand Caravan before this one and got almost 200k on it.

Our first had 370,000 miles on it when we hit a deer and Totaled it. It still ran great. We liked it so much that we went and got a second van to replace the first one.

Weird situation but stay with me - my summer jobs 2017 and 2018 were to drive around my families long-time dog walker (with 5-10 dogs at a time) who tried not to drive due to her narcolepsy. She had 2 of these vans, both beat to hell. 200k+ miles on both, blown shocks, interiors a mess because of the dogs, AC didn’t work in one of them, which was ~lovely~ in humid northeast summers. They both drove surprisingly well despite the age, mileage, and condition. I could hustle those vans around like you wouldn’t believe. One time, the brake booster crapped out while driving down someone’s steep driveway. With enough pressure on the brake, I was able to nurse it back to her normal mechanic. Don’t typically like these older Chrysler products, but those vans were something else.

Honestly love these minivans. Just bought one last week with 270K miles and it drives like a champ. I'm wanting to figure out the navigation on it yet as well as touching up some other things. Even at this day and age, the 05 and 06 models likely without a doubt can handle long distance and thats worth it if you ask me.

However that Jeep will never replace the amazing nostalgia I get from these vans the startup alone of one is enough to bring me countless memories from my childhood a much easier time in life and that’s what a vehicle is really about its about the memories it gives you!

Love these old Chrysler minivans, never really liked the 2008+. My favorite is the iteration prior to this one. My parents had a 2000 Town & Country Limited. There was so much that changed between the LXi and Limited in the '98-'00 vans, the Limited was so much nicer. The stereo was amazing, and ride was superb, although it did not handle well with the soft rear end. My family still owns the van today, Pearl has 243k miles, and is still the best riding car in our house.

@@glitchedparadox7296 In fact yes it WAS before Fiat merged with Chrysler. When this generation of T&C was out, it was DaimlerChrysler, a frickin disaster. To be honest, FCA is even worse. Because now Fiat has put their shitty technology into some of the Chryslers. The Jeep Renegade is a Fiat 4x4. They're not even durable for off-roading. And don't even get me started on the Dodge Dart.

This was interesting I remember when my Grandparents ordered a 2001 Town & Country Limited blue exterior with the blue leather and swade it was a cool van back then. My grandmother traded the 14 Town & Country for a Pacifica Limited last year I find it really cool that my family has owned Chrysler's since the 70's yeah most of you will say Chrysler or FCA is crap but they do have a loyal following.

3.8 L for these machines is a rarity! It is a pity that you did not press the gas to the floor on it, it would be very interesting to see its dynamics. In General, I love these cars, because in the family we have a regular Voyager with 2.4 L. I am very glad that there are cars in perfect condition)

My grandpa had a red one and I always loved this minivan as a kid, always begging my parents to buy one... Now at 24 I am about to buy my own, I am so excited, 2006 model imported to Europe from America (Fenton, MI), because the european version of this car is just not as good as the american, at least for me... I got no wife or kids, but my inner child is happy to own this.

I'm not a Chrysler fan anymore after having owned 5 of them, and none of them lasting more than a year. I have to admit that these vans were ahead of their time. My mom owns one and its actually a pretty nice driving vehicle. She has had no major issues with it after 2 years, and she seems to like it. My foster mom also owned one just like this one, except silver. They loved it! It was comfortable, it was loaded with features, and it never broke down on us! If Chrysler made one good car, it is this van. Though they do have a stereo type about them now. Almost every one of them has been smoked in, or vomited in at some point, kinda like Chevy Blazers, and Oldsmobile Bravada's lol!
