Fun fact: When wearing the Juggernaut/Ballistic Equipment it doesn't reduce the amount of damage that you'll take it increases your overall health.

Juggernaut looks cooler but ballistic equipment is better in like every way.
This is talking in freemode btw but in adversary modes I think they are very similar.
Juggernaut literally has a rhino helmet and ballistic is just a skull face mask you can buy at the mask store with the black bulletproof helmet
The only thing the juggernaut is better at, is it's mini gun being able to start up faster I noticed it during the test with the gas tank...tanking explosion test

the only real difference is that the juggernaut mod uses the special animation from story mode, while the ballistic armor simply uses the normal minigun animation

Itz not details. Of coarse the juggernaut would be weaker. Its only made for a gamemode. The balistic is made for freeroam so its stronger.

They should allow players to use the Ballistic Equipment in heists and other missions instead of just freemode that would make it more worth it in my opinion, imagine how easy the Avenger setup mission for the doomsday heist and the prison heist finale for instance would be if you could use it in heists

Seems like the Juggernaut is weakened so that its not too op in adversary modes and Heists. The Ballistic Equipment needs to be more versatile for freemode.

Yeah the juggernaut is older. I was do dissapointed when I equipped the ballistic equipment to see you can even use any gun you want when their are more than enough good anti juggernaut devices. I can kill a jug with explosive rounds easily

For some odd reason I like the juggernauts walking animation, it can walk really slow and it can't run that fast either and it is almost like you can actually feel the heavy armor it has.

Im pretty sure it has always taken 3, i think its that adversary mode messes with something. Because to my knowledge ballistic equipment can not tank 6 rockets.

I think there is a little glitch during the RPG Test. That SWAT Guy was reloading the RPG twice.

Makes sense, Juggernaut was meant for a pick-up weapon game mode, so it has to be somewhat balanced for the game mode, not everyone will have miniguns, RPG's, etc. Ballistic Equipment was meant for Online Lobbies, where everyone can use whatever at their disposal. Ballistic > Juggernaut, besides the helmet. Lol great tips all in all!
I wish that we could customize the look of our Ballistic Equipment. As well as be able to use in freemode missions. Stand Your Ground and Piracy Prevention would be perfect for the ballistic suit but it doesn't let you use it during those events.

The Juggernaut equipmemt is considered as an adversary outfit, so it would make sense for the vehicle to have less power than the ballistic equipment.

I know I'm late, but fun fact: with Ballistic Equipment on and in someone else's CEO/MC, they can change the outfits and change it back and it will look like you don't have Ballistic Equipment on. Also you will then be able to snack up and use normal body armor.

So your character is still treated as if they're in B.E., but from that being about 2 years ago, idk if they changed it but probably not. But if you want to totally be a problem, you can also use BST in B.E. and still get the normal BST benefits
I think I ran across one of these types in a Santa Claus outfit. He was solo player in “stand your ground”. After 4 rpg hits unloaded on him, he turned around and popped me.
This is likely because when you have the juggernaut suit on it raises your health ridiculously high rather than actually giving you more armour. Without this buff it’s damn near useless

I love how both of the armours switched the uses. The juggernaut supposed to be as powerful as the ballistic equipment while the ballistic needs to be as weak as the jiggernaut cause its ballistic. Cockstar logic.

Very cool video. I honestly did not know very much about the ballistic equipment even though I own it. I have also owned the Juggernaut outfit in GTA online because it was temporarily available as a glitch back when it first came out but Rockstar was quick to fix that glitch and remove the glitch outfit from inventory. In any case, the Ballistic equipment seems so much better.

Only explanation is because jugg is used in game modes and because they don’t want it to be overpowered because then it would just keep on killing if it had speed and health like ballistic but then they could also code it so wont make a difference

Did you know that in 2014 the juggernaut suit [Not ballistic equipment armor] was used in the Paleo Score? It was eventually remade into the suit you know today. The Juggernaut suit is weaker that the ballistic equipment though can take a minute of constant police fire. I always play Gta. SOMETIMES with my FRIEND ENEMY Hank. :/
*HOW TO KILL JUGGERNAUTS...*
Step 1: Go off the radar
Step 2: Take out your best melee weapon
Step 3: Go to stealth mode
Step 4: *STEALTH KILL*
It actually doesnt instakill them, it does take like 1/5 of their health though.
With the ballistic equipment If you become a bodyguard/associate for a ceo and stay in proximity to them you will regen health. So have them drive a guardian pickup truck and stand on the roof.

What is the point of having heavy armor and a big gun if the enemy can just move around you and eventually tire you out. It is fun to play with in games but heavy armor like that probably wouldn’t be a very sustainable platform.
@stuffnstuff8844 no I definitely agree. It would be technology still out of our grasp. However a heavily armored man with a big gun can provide a hell of alot of suppressive fire. I think it would only be best in defensive situations with a decent sized squad. But as of now the EOD suit is just that and not what video games chalk it up to be.
