I just checked out the concept art for that, there are some similarities but this was created maybe march of 2012 or earlier - not sure when MK VI concept was designed.
Can you imagine trying to wear the clay sculpt?! I ended up making a silicone mold of it and casting fiberglass castings of it. Ultimately it worked pretty well.
@@JonNeillArtist hahaaa yeah I know that this clay is super heavy!! So you need a powerfull neck to wear this helmet ;) nice one off silicon cool man! I love halo so much! Would be cool if they make a halo mtb helmet for mountainbiking or supercross :)
No it definitely needed to be molded. I made a stone case/silicone mold and made resin copies of the helmet from there. It would be impractical to wear a clay helmet because of strength and weight. Think of wearing a ceramic pot on your head. Way too heavy.
Hi Jordan, Finished like what you see in the images - $600.00 This includes the back lower quadrant attaching magnetically. Just the raw unfinished helmet casting and visor, unpainted, untrimmed $225.00
I agree with you, I changed it because I wasn't able to monetize the video for the longest time. I think though, I'll take your advice and put it back in.
super cool
Nice
This is cool! Did you make the sculpt directly into the helmet for wearing? If so, what clay did you use?

lol I think I get it now. Looked into helmet making a bit more. For now, I'm going with pepakura. ;) Thanks.
Very nice is it possible to make a ether devil bringer from devil may cry 5 or 4 and to make it more realistic and glow in the dark
Mega Heavy!!

I have sold two of these. The back section attaches magnetically.
how much do you sell them for-I want one, seriously they look awesome!

would it be cheating to start off the sculpture atop a motorcycle helmet?
Did you ever see Dark Helmet in space balls the movie? If not, google it, you'll see why I do not suggest it. Not cheating though.
I wanted to check this video out because I want to make the Fortnite rogue agent helmet, wat did you use for the visor?
Samuel McCarty I ordered a motorcycle visor and added that to the finished piece
What type of clay do you recommend?
WED clay , it's water based.
Thanks!
how much would this cost to make?
time plus material costs. Custom jobs from concept to creation cost several $$$$
How do you remove the clay from the headform to cast it?
Yes!
Do you sell these?
Is wed clay air dry?
Cakemainia yes, but I keep it damp
@@JonNeillArtist thanks
is this a halo helmet?
How much I would buy one
Thanks, I'd have to mold the helmet casting to make another cast. It'd be near 1000.00, sorry.
Hm, how much would it cost me to buy one from you? O_o

You know you would have more views if you said the actual game that the helmet was from...... Halo.....
