      No why? An engine from the Autobianchi A112, converted to left-hand rotation and ready.

      It is! It drives like a go cart! I had one and I loved it. It was modified for rally. So much fun!

    My best friend used to own one of these back when we were 19. He got it from his grandpa. It sounded nice, did't have seat belts and was stealing the show everywhere on the streets. This one seems to be tuned and somewhat quicker.

    I had one in 1980 1968 850sport good fun nippy saw 100mph out of it over 60 mph in second gear they just seemed to keep on revving keep up with a mini cooper going through London one night but my one was rotten with rust here in the UK not many about now shame was a nice looking little coupe

      terry Roberts I had one of the originals, with single headlights and less power. I’d forgotten how great it sounded. It was a hoot to drive and I developed a taste for rear engined handling - my fun car these days is a 996 Carrera 4

      without polluting very much? Do you know what that is? Its engine with DCOE carburetor and mechanical fuel pump. If you push the accelerator a bit, it goes over 10l of fuel per 100km.

      It is a good car, easy to get around in traffic or tight parking lots. The doors suck a little because you have to slam it as hard as you can to get the door closed completely.

      @@juippi420 I´ve changed the door seal for something softer, now I dont have to slam it as hard as the glass can take, but I still have to slam it a bit. And it also looks smoother from outside. I´ve also changed the brake cylinder to two-circuit from Fiat 126 and added some fog lights to front bumper.

    Bravo Uwe, il motore gira molto bene. Non è possibile montare il cambio a 5 velocità della A112 Abarth? Comunque un ottimo lavoro.

      thelonious ratledge, no is possible per il sentido di giri de motore e cambio a siniestra en tutta la gama de la FIAT 850 (Autobianchi, FIAT 600, FIAT 127, giri a dextra)
      Abarth, si comercializare un cambio di 5 velocitá per la FIAT 850 coupé 1000 OT, per molto prezio

    the 4° gear is too heavy. there is a drop of RPM of 2000 RPM between 3° and 4° (from >5000 to 3000 RPM )

      old8088, gear box unitary for all FIAT's 850 (Normal, Special, Coupe and Spyder) only changed conic group in every model
      For engine 903 c.c. (or engine 1050 c.c. like Fiat 850 sport coupe of this vídeo) his gear box, was too open

      Abarth made a special gear box 5 speed for his 850 coupé 1000 OT, (app for all model FIAT 850 but very, very expensive)

      a lot of? are only 76hp. the engine has 1050cc and comes from the A112 abarth
