The fact that a game depends on paying money in order to win or rise in the rankings bothers me. Naturally, I don't mind its existence, but it is crammed to the point where it forces you to do so.
There should be F2P servers and Whale servers. And the Whale servers should be called Entitled Pricks.

I'm glad the reroll process is so clean and easy because I swear Hewynn has increased rates. My last 20 rerolls have been 19 Hewynn and 1 Rowan.
honestly position halfway to reset means nothing expecially on new servers, ppl wait last hour to push it after a whole day of farming and minmaxing their team

I understand enjoying the game more as a f2p, you enjoy the struggle haha. The challenge is what makes the game fun and being able to overcome it by strategy is way more rewarding than paying to end the game essentially.
Wow, that progress on day one is insane. I thought I have a lot of whales on my server, but they just all own smokey. I thought about rerolling, but my day 7 hero turned out to be the last Themisia copy to get her to mythic+. I might be able to catch up with that.
To get the haste buff only 1 unit xan be in the far back. It puts an aura on the unit with attack speed

Managed to reroll an account with 3 cecia dupes (got 4th from elite), smokey, and brutus within 60 tickets on a server in the 300s, sadly this server for some reason brought in 10 giga whales that had 1m damage within the 2nd day lol... Story of my life
I've been playing this game for 2 days now. 232 Pulls w/ 2 Smokey and no Thoren. I've literally been running the same team but sometimes I'll use Shakir or Odie instead of Antandra. My Cecia is Legendary too.
I agree with you that it's cool that the Maulers are one of the good factions in the game. I play AFK Arena...they are the worst faction lol. Appreciate you Volkin! ✌️

Personally, using Thoran, Smokey, Cecia, Antandra, and depending if i survive...add more damage, if not, Rowan. You may have to play with relics... (800k power afk stage 435).
As a f2p I'm happy that I got Smokey as my first mythic, definitely a goated healer.
Im f2p too but how did you manage to get a mythic character that fast? My highest rarity right now is only legendary after 4 days of playing.

I just tried this comp but don’t have Brutus so I used Rowan instead and it was very solid. Surprisingly good that 3 support plus tank was so good

That team many many times doesnt work. like i watch people 20,30k power lower then me with units much worse then mine and they win and i lose. idk how is that possible
I think three tanks and one carry just doesn't do enough damage at higher deficits. I sub out one of the tanks (Koko cause I have only 1 copy and she dies way too fast) with Odie and it's a perfect team.
Rank one is not that big of a deal. What you need is an active server with guild since guild will be a big part of it for this game.

Is there a way for those of us in servers where we will never be top 100 to get the gold temporal essences? Other than the slow grind of guild chests?
had to join my friends server a day late so rank 1 isnt possible anymore, but still top 2-5% so pretty good
Its easy get 1 rank in that boss, just be the first in defeat him one he reset at the day and you get it, first place rank 😊
I got close to this, but then I went back right after that and was immediately not close to this.
if heywenn gets buffed on her energy regen , she would be top tier. her energy sucks when ur ult is ready but your team are dead
this is sorted at M+ with her exclusive equipment. til then she is too slow
lol volkan your not gonna believe this but lastnight after reset, i pulled 1 10 pull of normals and no joke i pulled my smokey finally!! and i instantly was able to rush through about 16 stages on AFK and unlocked the "world boss" then fell asleep so gotta spend this morning doing stages and stuff,
man i wish they could just make a server thats absolutely f2p, no pop up bundle BS just people grinding for loots
The problem with starting new server is that the server will be dead there will barely few guild and most people are most doing reroll on the server and also the new wolf won't get killed because of low players
I'm stuck with a few p2w guilds filled with only p2w players but i can still get top 200, but I don't think top 100 is possible for the next 70 years
And some how I ended up in the server with celestial and void day 1.. too lazy to reroll.

How to enjoy the game: don’t stress about being number one or top in ur server
Im not gonna lie, at high deficit, this team is just getting nuked lmao. Smokey takes way too long to get his ult and half the time he gets silenced/CCed. Plus if he doesnt pop his ult, Kokos ult takes even longer
For context, I'm stuck at AFK 410, at about a 30k+ deficit. My team is all lvl 110, except for one unit stuck at 100.
It is tempting to be f2p on a server without a lot of big spenders guaranteeing you will never break top 50 on most events.
Just started a f2p account on the newest server got smokey and Thora off the starting summons on first try. So I'm keeping this one
The funny bit is I've dropped some cash in the PTR and it took me a little over a month to clear all the content (I mean all the content only have arena and battle drills left) so I have a feeling that some of the whales will drop off soon lol
Yup, just have to be patient, other big games coming out. There are type of whales that just play for a month then leave for other games to glorify themselves

It's impossible..As a F2p I can be only be top 100 in dream realm and arena in top 100 as well..Severs are full of 🐳🐳🐳..Way too much of them.side note(First 1,2 day is easy to be in top 10 or 20)

You can get through it, just keep playing the game and eventually you'll be able to surpass whales as an F2P, besides it will be along way through this game considering it's latest release.

I'm kind of stuck. Resonance level 75 and can't move pass level 91 enemies, and the quest along with it. After completing the dailies, I have nothing else to do. I'm only in my 4th day and there's no way to farm training manuals so I guess its just the game being true to its name "AFK" Journey. lol
Question what time in the day do you collect all your idle afk rewards? When I used to play AFK Arena I’d wait until 7pm for me when the dailies and quests are live. So by then it’s more than 12hrs of rewards. So on this game I’d wait until 7pm at night to collect my idle rewards.

So far I’ve yet to get Rowan, Temesia, and even Thoran. Tomorrow, I’ll be getting the 7 day chest. Shall I still get Eironn and hopefully get one of the three from summons, or go for Brutus?
Get rowan eironn is long term investment. He needs to be mythic+ to be useful til then he sux. Rowan is good at 1 copy and would help u push stages now.

@@SmyeOsu Yer in the glory expedition they have 2075 points over 1200 more than 2nd, 2nd is 845 3rd is 790. then 4th is 470 After that the difference between in each position is really close between all the other guilds. its crazy, and kinda takes out a bit of enjoyment tbh but that's the game. take out top 3 guilds and top 30 on the dream realm and as a f2p / low spener player you're able to be quite competitive.
Lol I quit that server, I was even a light spender, could only hit top 100+ in dream realm, left for greener pastures in s77
That is insane. I think I am in a server with big whales. I have done over 5 million damage and I barely hit the top 100 🤣. The top 10 got over 11 million damage

what happens to the servers after 6-18 months where people slowly lose interest or stop playing? does afk arena have the same server system and do they eventually merge servers down the road so theres not senarios where servers only have like 1-3 active guilds?

Honestly, I don't think this game is sustainable for f2p players... even if you reroll and get your dream team, the amount of rewards that you get per account is still limited (So eventually you will always hit a wall) I'm quite disappointed ngl.

I did this a few times over the last few days. Was rank 1 on 3 diffrent servers but only finished top 10 on 1 at the end of the day since.
Didnt get smokey or thorin on any of the accounts so pretty much retired them all. What sucks is my main account rolled them both but i was a day behind everyone and the server was stacked with whales 🥲
