Loved your video. I went on ovation in March 2018 in cabin 6648, identical room to your but on the opposite side and on deck 6. You’re right about the balcony itself being nearly bigger than the cabin and the view down to the back is quite nice. Best type of cabin I’ve ever had 10/10 for your video
Thanks for explaining the partial obstruction. I'll be in the room very, very soon! Thanks so much! (That and Cruising with JT's video and I'm all set! lol )
AquamarineKay KB I’ve stayed in this type of cabin and yes it’s totally worth it. The balcony in this video really is enormous and worth having if you get a chance to book this room
Thanks this looks a lot better for myself as I just watched another video on an interior single room...yours is much bigger and not closed in etc....who far in advance did you have to book it in order to get it ok? Thanks Laurie
What was the cost of this cabin compared to a similar one with two people? I found that when trying to book a studio cabin for one it's the same total price as a cabin for two. For example my cruise cost $2,000 per person in a two person cabin so the total is $4000 for the room. A similar studio cabin for one person is $4,000. So what is the advantage of a studio?
I just paid 1/2 fare of a balcony for 2. So it was the same price as if you were paying for your 1/2 share of a twin share balcony . As it is a solo you only have to pay for 1 person
@@cruisingtheoceanwithjenny148 Thanks for your reply. Did you purchase it online? Or did you do this by phone with a rep. I'm not getting the option for a solo cabins on any cruise line website.
@@indioraj Only a few ships offer Solo cabins some Royal Caribbean ships do :- Oasis class ships, Quantum class ships and some on Radiance class ships, this maybe your problem when searching online. I booked through a Travel agent
Hi, I have booked 7150, up the front, hoping to have an easy walk on the bow deck. Its a trip at the end of the year and my roomy doesn't think there is access. Cannot find any information. Please help. Good luck.
What I learned today watching this. Did not know one can have a solo cabin with a balcony.... thank you
I just booked this exact room for our cruise next year. I love that solo balcony cabins are available.
Thanks for that. I’m impressed. I been on the Ovation many times. Never realised they had those cabins. Perfect for me. Aussie Bob 😊
Thanks, Jenny. We're only a few doors to the aft on our next cruise.

Thank you for this Jenny; makes it real!
Pretty big for a studio balcony room, might book one for myself.
I have a studio cabin reserved for my TP in a year and a half - first time in one of them. It looks great.
Lovely cabin Jenny! I hope your cruise was as great as your video!
Great video of this room, thanks for sharing.
We could all party on your balcony 🍷🎉
I just booked this room too on Ovation, can't wait!!!!
Thanks for this lovely video.. I will in 6248 in October 29th to NZ.. I was looking to move to upper deck but failed.. looks like the cabin is ok
Thank you ...
Oh nice like the cabin
Love this! Looks like I need a cruise alone
I was cruising with friends but had my own room. It was great.
The balcony looks bigger than a Jr suite balcony, amazing.
Thank you for this video. I wanted to book a studio room on this ship but when it said obstructed view I was not sure. Now I may book one.

That looks like a double bed, nit a single. 🥰🤗🥰
It is a double bed, great size loved this room
I would totally move my mattress out onto that balcony on beautiful nights!
That's forbidden. I have learned that recently.

LWJCarroll I’ve stayed in an identical cabin to this on deck 6 (6648). I crushed in March 2018 and booked the cabin 14 months prior
