Instead of using Origin, I think they could use the Nopon Archsage and have something go wrong and he brings these heroes together to fight the evil he has accidentally created.
I can see that happening too, another youtuber named Dr. Ninjake had that exact idea and I didn't want to rip him off (and I just liked my origin idea)
Xenoblade Warriors feels like basically free money as long as Nintendo does it well. Introduce new characters and really push parts of the story that weren't as center stage in Xenoblade 3 and even if the story is bonkers or somewhat fanservicey it'd still be a fun ride regardless.
Black fog / ghosts seem like great candidates for a game, they have very little lore but a lot of potential to expand on.
Ghosts would only show up if they want X to be in it though, which seems like a 50/50 chance these days. (Btw the ghosts only appear in X's opening cutscene over Earth, and they sunk the White Whale. Destroying Earth, killing Elma's partner, damaging the Ares, and more were all done by them, but after that they vanish off the face of Mira).

Z or X would totally end up in the roster if Malos and Egil made it in, because Warriors games love to throw in villains as playable characters. You could probably throw in Giga Rosa or Immovable Gonzalez as the goofy moveset select (i cant recall more popular ones other than these two).

They could use the fog king or other fog beasts replicating previous villians as the antagonists as they're still quite mysterious and unexplained, and the game could take place during the merging of origin at the end of Xenoblade 3 where the characters have to ensure that all the data being tampered by the fog beasts is arranged correctly so the timelines play out as they should, perhaps with some little tamperings like having a better ending for Lora and Hugo.

If we are talking situations like that, imagine Lora (either pulled from before she died, or alive due to timeline shenanigans) encountering Jin as he is during the main story.
This would just print money, man.
But I also think a Xenoblade spin-off with a tactical strategy style like Fire Emblem would be damn awesome.
One idea I've always had for a warriors games were some "What If" scenarios. For example it's heavily implied That N's sword of the end uses Data from Malos's core crystal for it's power, so in a hypothetical game concept where Origin repairs Malos's core, Noah could awaken as his driver.

Yeah I think people need to keep expectations low for the story aspect. But honestly that’s why I think they should just make a canon fanservice game. The only way to make this canon would be if Takahashi works alongside the development team personally and writes the story. And even then it would probably be the longest warriors game yet.
I remember Zelda's writing team helping out with Age Of Calamity, hopefully Takahashi would be on board if this Warriors game came to be

I’ve been manifesting Xenoblade Warriors ever since finishing 3. It’s just way too easy and writes itself. Just make it happen after the worlds re-merge, let 3’s cast age up a bit, and basically all the characters are there. They can do flashback or side missions to throw in any missing Aionios or dead characters without needing to canonize them being alive again or something. Warriors games have done it countless times. This can be the huge fanservice moment we all want before Monolith starts anew with Xenoblade 4
Man, I'd put hundreds of hours into a Xenoblade Warriors game! Personally, I'm less concerned about the story and lore justifications for characters, I'd just want the chance to play as lots of awesome Xenoblade characters, both mainline and obscure, like Seven from Xenoblade 1, Elma from X, Azami from 2 and Segiri + Mech from 3. Also, I really hope a Xenoblade Warriors would finally do justice to Taion's Mondo weapon, which looks so cool and versatile in cut-scenes, yet amounted to so little in-game.
I didn't even consider that Taion's Mondo could finally have its redemption, that would be great!
Going by xenoblade 2 and hyrule warriors character designs, the main villain will just be Z who's gone up several bra sizes.

Honestly, with this, I'd prefer a nonsense story with as much crammed fanservice over a story that makes sense but allows for less fullfilled fan-dreams in the actual game. The latter, they could maybe do as an eventual sequel, like FE did.

My idea for xenoblade warriors is that its a canon prequel to future redeemed set right after the intersection in Aionios's earliest cycles. It would show us what happened to the xc1 and xc2 characters after the rise of moebius. It would basically give us the epic dark tragedy that age of calamity wussed out on delivering. The MC could be the missing Mythra child, who could very well be the one who established the very first original city and poasibly even discovered the fists of the end wnd by extension the power of ouroboros, prior to the era of Matthew.
YES! EGIL MENTIONED! Ive seen a few people mention him as a possible playable character, and I hope they DO include him if it ever happens.
My setup for the story post-Xenoblade 3 will be something a little different that could theoretically be a canon story. The main threat are unknown aliens arriving to Earth. But these aren't just any aliens, they're the Gnosis. The same Gnosis that at the end of Xenosaga episode 3 were sent to Lost Jerusalem aka Earth. You'd also have other enemies as well. That being the descendants of the humans who left Earth and have come back to reclaim it since it's their holy land. And they would view the people of Bionis and Alrest as lesser beings. So that would be another faction you'd have to deal with. Later on in the game we would eventually find KOS-MOS and repair her so she can be playable. As well as the cast of Xenosaga also showing up to reunite with her and being playable as well.
The only issue with this premise is whether or not Monolithsoft would prefer this as the main story of Xenoblade 4 or not. As tying massive crossover elements with Xenosaga might be something they want to save for a mainline game.
Honestly, if they were to make it a full fanservice type Warriors game, I see no reason why they wouldn't add characters from X or Xenosaga/gears. They did it with 2 and the blades, they could probably go "don't worry about it" again. I also think not including Lora was a pretty big miss, because I feel like the roster should at least have the main protagonist from every game and it's DLC. Regardless of who's in it though I feel like it would be loads of fun regardless.
Jin is Torna's main character. Lora is in the same "secondary character"-role as Addam and Mythra are.
Glad I'm not the only one who wants to have a Xenoblade Warriors' set after Xenoblade 3. But there are things I would change. First is the roster. I wouldn't really bring back Egil, Jin, Matthew, and Na'el into the roster. The former two being that reviving them would feel a bit contrived and the latter two aren't born yet. Yeah I know Origin wackiness but I also want to keep the roster size reasonable since these warriors games don't usually make a ton of unique movesets for characters if the roster is more than 16. Fire Emblem got away with having so many characters because the movesets were tied to character classes. I could see A and Alvis working as one character. Similar to King Rhoam.
Where changing between A and Alvis gives you different fighting styles. But that's if they want to do the idea that A still has the data on turning back into Alvis.
One thing I also want to add is who will technically be the main character of the game. Usually in a massive all-star roster like this you need to center on 1 character being the main lead of the story. And to me the perfect character to choose would be Mythra's kid. The one we haven't seen. Since they'd be a brand new character for the story and for use to follow it'd make writing the story a little easier.
I'd also like Heart to Hearts in the game as well. Since they already work like supports in Fire Emblem. That way we can have characters from different games interact with each other.
A and Alvis could just be model swaps of each other, like the male and female versions of Corrin and Robin in Fire Emblem Warriors.
This could be a chance for us to see Mythra's kid too!!
Considering how there are three different versions of link in og hyrule warriors, having the older and younger versions of characters could work separately from each other
They just need to do a Persona Q where they don't remember anything that takes place during the game.
And and also they just need to make it something to do with the Nopon Archsage.
What they should do is the Archsage buying... (SPOILERS)
...Origin from Melia and Nia, then him using its leftover data to make the game in-universe.

I wonder if the story could be a prequel to XC3 and reveal some answers to ongoing questions?
Act 1 starts with the worlds separate and the world's first make contact. All the characters from 1 and 2 are there and only slightly older than in future connected. The rise of fog beasts invading both worlds provides the story for the battles and building Origin.
Act 2 follows the merging of the worlds and explains how Shulk and Rex escaped the cycle. All the other characters (minus Melia and the Aegis') are now part of the cycle and the story tells of how Shulk and Rex found and recruited the members of their party from Angus and Keves, as well as recruiting alternate versions of the Xenoblade 3 cast and some other fan favourites. They fight against Mobius as well.
Finally, act 3 follows older Shulk and Rex after the rest of their party has finished their ten year lifespan. They setup the new colony 9 and the final battle is against Alpha with help from Mobius (so Z, N and M can be playable).
After the main story is completed, Nopon Archsage crazyness lets you recruit Egil, Metal Face, Malos, Lorna, Jin, Haze, Adam, Vandam, Elma and Lin. A bit like how Lyn and Celica are recruited in the first Fire Emblem Warriors. Or maybe they can be DLC, like all the other characters that came to Fire Emblem Warriors shortly after release.
The only problem is, I'm not sure how to fit Matthew, A, Mikal and Glimmer in...
(Quick sidenote: I also think Vanea should be playable, since I heard she was scrapped as playable late into development).
I mean, XCX has a connection through Elma being a DLC Blade in XC2. She could fit into a potential Warriors title.

What do you mean Malos was never playable? He joins your party before you meet Pyra
Malos was in your party yes, but you can't control anyone other than Rex at that point in the game.
You never get the chance to play as Malos without hacking the game
I personally would want a Xenoblade warriors game, but I would prefer it have an actual canon story. I would set it during and after Z's takeover of origin. There are a decently high number of characters that I feel you could fairly reasonably justify being in the game. The main cast of 1 and 2 could be there with the caveat that you would probably have to kill everyone other than Shulk and Rex by the end of the game. While it would require a huge coincidence to have the whole main cast of 3 be there you could at least justify Noah and Mio being freed from their flame clocks, You could also include Glimmer and Nikol and Mythra's kid because it makes sense that they would go out of their way to save their children. The only thing is you would probably have to have the game last nearly 10 years to justify The former soldiers being old enough for their parents to let them fight. Also you would have to kill them to. I am realizing now that the story I'm sugesting would end up with a lot of people dead, so this probably wouldn't be what they go with for a wariors game, But i still think it would be pretty cool if they did.

If they do make a Xenoblade Warriors game, I think it’s better they do it like Persona 5 Strikers where you explore around and when you encounter an enemy, more spawn around them and the Musou gameplay starts. Although you won’t have as much characters to play as, the game would be able to focus on and have a better story.

The idea of a Xenoblade Warriors game never crossed my mind until now.
Yet now that I've heard the idea, I cannot help but want it to become a reality!
I would be all in with a Xenoblade Warriors game.
The story excuse could also be the Nopon Archsage gathering the strongest warriors from across time and different dimensions, which we already know he can do, to fight something even he can't control. Also, a needed new character is Mythra's child. Can't have the whole Rex family and not include the final member.
On the note of spin off ideas I kinda want a real time strategy game set in xenoblade 3s world, I think that could be fun.

As others have already mentioned ocs, I do think a hypothetical Xenoblade Warriors will also have something else other Warriors gsmes have: a completely out of left field canon pick. Not even talking about characters like Elma or Kosmos, (although there's a high likelihood they'd be there too)
No, I mean weird characters, like Agatha, that one Sage from Botw, and Gatekeeper and Monica but alive this time. Like I could see Roc, Aegaeon, or Wulfric showing up, but also somebody crazy, like Bana riding a Pterix, or Vangarre riding in on a Colony 9 mech.
Or even one of the common blades with a generic name being made into main character status. That's even happened before in a Warriors game, Warriors Orochi has Dodomeki and Gyuki, who started out as generic demon enemies, with dozens of other demon enemies appearing identical, but suddenly these guys became playable a in few Orochi games.

Gameplay wise I’d like it to be more like P5 strikers, in that game you were able to really explore the places you visit instead of being some boring map that forces you to go around it in a boring cycle of defending a base or defeating a powerful enemy that appeared out of nothing
So here are my ideas relating to the different possible settings:
Origin could be a good setting and could possibly do a Consul A trying to stop the process and be everyone working together to stop them, but would mess with the flow of the ending of the 3rd Game IMO since Noah already threw away his main weapon.
Setting 2: Have it take place years later in the newly reformed world of 1 and 2 as we can still have Noah and the team possibly older by then and have Glimmer and Nikol as playable characters. Only issue is no Mathew and his Sister. A could show up possibly, but unsure. Going off of everyone elses idea, the Protagonist of the Warriors game could be Mythra's child to answer fans questions relating to them. Another fun thing to do is bring in the children of each of the original cast members too from Xenoblade 1 and 2 so we can have full confirmation for Hero characters from Xenoblade 3 for who is related to who. (As fans thiught of Crys as another kid of Shulks. XD)
For DLC, could bring in Villains that could not be around anymore, but to throw my hat into the Ring for more characters: N and M 100% as they are reskins/ varients of Noah and Mio playstyles.

Ive been fantasizing about xeno warriors for years now. Im glad to see other people talking about it, it makes the chances of it actually happening higher

I really don't know if this is necessary, because Future Redeemed was amazing as is already,
But it'd be cool to see a Warriors Game that takes place *RIGHT* as the 2 worlds merged, and Shulk and Rex just barely meet. Granted this would be a very sad game as like-we'd see Reyn, Dunban, Zeke, Riki, etc. Everyone's just dead 💀
It could answer a few more questions such as how Tora was able to create origin and recreate the trinity processor, along with what happened to Pyra+Myhtra, how Malos' core crystal was recreated for N's sword, I have like a million questions remaining after the end of Future Redeemed that'd be nice to have answered

A Xenoblade Warriors game really would just be printing money. In my opinion, the most interesting possibility for it would be seeing the clashing ideals between characters. I mean, imagine the debate Shulk and Noah could have with Malos regarding the state of the world and how destruction can lead to salvation, or Jin, Mio, and Sharla discussing how to move past the death of a loved one or beloved friend. Hell, Rex and Egil (either before or after his fight with Shulk in the Mechonis core) could lead to an interesting debate on who should or shouldn't be saved when the world reaches its end. There is so much potential there that i just need to see. The story wouldn't need to be anything too deep if it meant seeing any of these interactions or more that haven't crossed my mind. Sure Xenoblade is known for its writing, but its defined by its characters.

3 just has more characters to add if you count Future Redeemed, even then Xenoblade 3 only had 3 or 4 more characters than XC1 and 2.

I'm dead serious if they did a Xenoblade Warriors I wouldn't play anything else for like a year, especially if we got the option to play as characters like Alvis or Malos. (Yes A exists but it's not the same). I'm not usually the type of person to go for games like that but I would absolutely make an exception.

Maybe everyone's conscience/existence were messed-up by someone (again) then their data were mixed with all existing and pre-existed characters. Some entity (at same level as Alvis and Zamza) was triggered and its actions put everything in motion. Hmmm any ideas?

Everyone talking about warriors but what about a souls like game? Obviously mowing through waves of enemies in seconds with lucky seven or pnuemas sword with Rex but I feel a true difficulty step up would be nice, will it sell as much? Probably not but I need that difficulty and rage with xeno characters
Hands down, this warriors game would be epic. We need Ethel, Cammuravi, and Ghodor as well to say the least…maybe some of the more popular blades from 2.

How tou feel about a xenoblade warriors games is How I feel about a Final Fantasy Warriors games. I want both of them
Hyrule Warriors DE has 42 completely unique playstyles with 26 characters, so I think a Xenoblade Warriors should definitely include as many characters as they can. Xenoblade already has a lot of DLC-exclusive playable characters, so it's easy to imagine a Warriors spinoff having DLC packs for characters too, like a Xeno1 Alvis/Tyrea pack, a Xeno 2 Torna pack, a Xeno 3 Glimmer/Nikol pack, etc.
Hyrule Warriors and Three Hopes also have multiple movesets available for one character. So I think Rex would have a Pyra moveset and Mythra moveset you can choose between, but just can't use both at the same time on the same map. This can extend to a Driver Nia moveset and Blade Nia one, etc.
I think a Xenoblade Warriors might benefit from a special team-up mechanic, maybe like Blazblue Cross Tag Battle. Since there's a lot of Driver-Blade synergy in Xeno2, and Ouroboros synergy in Xeno3. Like when deploying your warriors on a map, you can pair them up to make a two-in-one character? You can switch between them in battle and share some skills, but won't be able to separate them. Like Three Hopes' Pair Up mechanic, but permanent for the whole map.
A Warriors spinoff aside, it'd be fun to brainstorm other possible Xenoblade spinoffs. Like what if there was a mobile gacha game, like FE Heroes?
I do think I'd be cool to have like 1 X character as kinda like a guest star or DLC or something.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Xenoblade Warriors should be a prequel to Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed. We can have non-canon DLC characters like A/Alvis, Jin, Egil, Na'el, Matthew, Pyra/Mythra/Malos (though tbh there might be ways to canonically put them in a Future Redeemed prequel if you REALLY wanted to,) et cetera, but primarily a Xenoblade Warriors should cover, first and foremost, the gap between the start of the Origin Project and Alpha's Awakening, or at least a part of it. This allows for plenty of fanservice, the presence of characters from all 3 games, much more detail on what happened to all the characters from Xenoblade 1 and 2 we know and love, so more insight into some characters from 3 and the chance to paint lots of Aionios and the content of Xenoblade 3 in general in a cool new light, AND the chance to fill in the gaps in the history of Aionios and expand on that world without going backwards for another Xenoblade game. There could also be paralogues covering moments in Xenoblade's worlds outside of Aionios, like a short story about the battle between the titans, a Tornan attack on Indol, Nia's rise to power, and some more insight into the Fogbeast threat in both worlds and how both worlds come into contact and begin work on the Origin project.
I doubt all of these things would be covered, but I would honestly hate to see a fanservice-first non-canon Xenoblade Warriors game when there's so much that can be done to enhance the Xenoblade narrative in a canonical, well-written Xenoblade Warriors game.
The Problem is that that cant just make it a semicanonical spinoff with everyone together because xenoblade universe lore runs so deep, so they can't just sorta phone in the story like with some of the other warriors games. On the other side that means there is endless potential to explore there not only gameplay wise (and you KNOW that gameplay would go unfathomably hard) but also story wise. Make it take place within origin, procedually Generating all the things and people it has saved, or maybe when the universes split again have origin remain seperate and generate its own fucked up pocket Dimension where all it has saved exists as one. Idk if xenoblade makes the money or has the IP Power to constitute a game like this being made but holy shit would I play that game to death like the other warriors games (i have like 400h in hwl without any dlc, heavily concidering buying the definitive Edition even now and I 100%ed aoc including dlc, these games are some of my favourite timesinks!)
There's a few ways they can make the story of a musou canon:
- Retelling the story of all three Games, with a free mode that lets you use characters from other stories you've finished (that free mode thing applies to all alternatives mentioned below, too). But that's boring af.
- Making it a Xenoblade 3 warriors specifically, taking place in Aionios. No ouroboros or anything, only death and drama. No Noah/Mio either if it takes place after FR. A structure with a Kevesi and an Agnian route would be cool, too. That would be actually interesting, but limit the fan service to 3, it would be harder to add canon inclusion of characters from 1 and 2.
- Small chapters taking place in the lore of each world. You could have the tutorial be Swird Valley, where you unlock Dunban, Mumkhar and wdickson, and maybe even "new" characters, like a Homs Xord before he became a faced mechon. Then another chapter at the time of Torna, some chapters in aionios etc. That sounds like the most interesting to me.
- some plot surrounding origin or another device retaining memory from every soul of people, ead and alive alike. It would be copies of the characters, so the real versions we see in the mainline games don't know about what happens there. That kind of plot, if canon, would better fit a gacha, though, I believe, as you could have say Monado Dunban interact with adult Shulk. Or adult Nia interacting with her xc2 counterpart. That could give more insight to characters, while not fucking the lore up too much, and not making the game feel pointless with it being non cannon, it would simply be "okay, we have a situation where a tech saves the memories of people, AND they can interact together to even form a collective uncouncious. What actually happens to these souls copied, besides origin?" kinda scenario and not dumb bad crossover fan service, which I wouldn't like. (Unless it's a first xenoblade musou game to prep for a lore accurate canon one about five years later where they used the first game as a basis to develop the gameplay even more)
Xenoblade Warriors with the Gameplay from FEW1, I would buy it directly

Also i have to say i would fully expect for them have Gondor and Monica as thr city people, they are after all the only ones outside your main party to be there for the final battle. Also i cant see them not including riku and manana.
Dlc though Lora with haze, hugo with Aegeon and adam with Minoth to round out all campaigns and elma for some extra spice. Maybe nene and kino as well.
There is no way they will have a semi-canon story Xenoblade Warriors game first, it will be like the original Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors.
Xenoblade X will have playable characters too.
I never said this game would be canon lol, I'm saying that they already have an excuse ready to bring in all the different characters
And for the X characters, would the devs really go through the effort of including characters most people don't even know?
If they where to make a hypothetical warriors game for the xenoblade series I don't see why they wouldn't Xenoblade X is still a xenoblade and it has its fans
i honestly want them to bring back kos-mos as a guest character and shulk and possible tora would use her for "upgrading" origin and making it better but she ends up sending everyone to the UMN where they fight gnosis but moebius also somehow teams up with the gnosis as well
Havent beat any xenoblade (im like 15-20 hours into xb1 take that as you will) but i think alottt of franchises have untapped Musou potentials for real

Well why not add in Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade X characters as well. The rosters for these games can get pretty big and If they take the original Hyrule Warriors approach instead of doing an alternatie timeline sequel/prequel it'd be some great fanservice. Granted I agree that Xeno fans would want an amazing story to go along with it, but that's never really been the purpose of these kinds of games anyway.
I hope they eventually do make a Xeno Warriors at some point, but I think we'll have to wait until the Switch 2 comes out as I remember Age of Calamity chugging badly on the Switch and if they use Xenoblade's engine to make a Warriors game that'd definitely run at 2fps on the Switch with how many enemies/characters would be on screen.
The truth is that those 3 are way lesser known and as of now not officially connected to the 3 mainline games, it could other Xeno characters being added but it doesn't seem likely

So I had an idea for a set up for a Xenowarriors that was more inline with the plot of the OG Hyrule Warriors. Basically, what if the nopon arch sage had a few to many red pollen orbs one night and just completed messed up the space time contnium. You could have X and Saga characters, no having to do a derp dive into lore for it. It would be pure fan services, but the first warriors games of a series dont have a direct connection to one specific game over others anyways.
Having the archsage mess things up would be a bit silly but it could work
If there were a Xenoblade Warriors game I would personally make the characters such as Shulk, Rex, and Nia have their younger and older designs and for characters that don’t have a counterpart there could be a unique character made that are characters like Dunban who would maybe get a younger design and Sharla with an older design. IDK what to do with the Nopons. Also I’ve only played Xenoblade 2 and not even finished.
Call it Xeno warriors and throw in the Xenogears, Xenosaga and Xenoblade X in it, now that would be a game.

You can't really have Matthew and Na'el in a post XC3 world as even if they are reborn, it wouldn't be until later on in the timline so i dont think they could show up
