I think the reason why the hunter gamma lasted so long is because it's main weak spot is it's mandibles and Nemesis was hitting it's back.
Once when I was playing as Hunk in RE2 remake, I got grabbed by a zombie and shoved a grenade in it's mouth. Mr. X came up to punch me but missed and punched the zombie in the face and it blew up the grenade. That was an intense escape!

Nemmy actually saved me a couple of times despite Jill being his enemy. While I was running away from him, I got grabbed by a zombie and he rushed and smacked the zombie which protected Jill from taking damage :)
It happend to me also many time
Nemmy was probably thinking "If anyone's gonna take this bitch down, it's gonna be me."

This happens in the old RE3 as well. Funny enough, when Nemesis punches a zombie in the old game he automatically destroys the zombie's head. This leads me to think that Nemesis has a "critical hit flag" in his punches.
Yeah well once you realize how strong a Tyrant is canonically its amazing the zombie doesnt just explode. Also Nemesis is stronger than mass produced Tyrants aka Mr.X.

@@heavymetalmixer91 They did. The Nemesis we see in Raccoon city is the only one of them who had any combat experience and stayed under Umbrellas control. At least two of the Nemesis-T Types demonstrated completely unexpected senses of ego and self-awareness, and made an attempt to escape from their laboratory.(Were most likely destroyed by same railguns as Jill did in her final battle since that technology is made by Umbrella against bows just like the anti bow acid in the original too which wasnt enough to kill nemesis in either game but still seriously injure it.) Its unknown how many of them were made but after the fall of Umbrella the remaining models were either forgotten in their test tubes or found and destroyed.

I loved playing “survival” with nemesis when this game came out. His “camera teleportation” mechanics were quite interesting IMO!

Enemies being able to hurt other enemies has been in video games, for, well decades. This is not anything a normal person would consider impressive.
He could do the same thing in the original 20 years ago.
As others have said, Nemesis could already do that in the original. In fact, I recall Nemesis retaliating against certain enemies if they harmed it.
I think the point that Robbie was trying to make is how HARD Nemesis punch them, Not how he was able to punch them. Usually it take 3 to 5 headshot with a pistol (If their head doesn't explode) to render a normal zombie useless, while with just one punch from nemesis they're down for good. And their head is still intact !
Hell, in the original game, when Nemesis throw punches against a zombie he automatically destroys the head.

I definitely believe that in this game, nemesis receives multiple more damage from grenades than other enemies.

It's amazing how you can bend the game and take creatures from other places and make them appear wherever you want. I have only played that game on PlayStation, and battles are so predictable. There should be difficulties where you could fight random monsters everywhere. You are a god in this video game realm, buddy!

Awesome video but you forgot about the Paleheads. I mean I expect they'd be maybe slightly tougher than regular zombies but still they're another enemy type in the game.

I only played it once. Never felt the need to play it again. Re2 is awesome as hell tho
so in fact , Nemesis can save you a lot of ammo if know how to dodge on time
