Big news about Trust Payments no longer working with ANY Competition websites due to pressure from VISA from May 31st. I don't know the exact details but this is only affecting Trust Payments and not all gateways.
Video coming as soon as i can take a breath!
So on to the solution - I have been in contact with multiple gateways to see who can take you guys on the best and have found a good team in the UK ready to migrate you over.

Do know anything about Revolut and their Business account? Is that working with your competition setup as revolut business account have payment gateway.

Revolute is a business bank account, not a payment gateway.
A payment gateway is an account people can use card details to send you money, then usually every few days you get a lump sum deposit of all the money you have made into your revolute bank account.
You cannot go from your website to revolute, you need a payment gateway like trust payments.

Hi Mike not sure you can help me but I’m in the process on starting a build of my raffle competition website but in regards to advertising on Facebook and gaining followers via social media do I need any kind of license, I didn’t think I did but reading some things suggest I do, I always thought if I offer a free entry or skill based question I wouldn’t need one, thanks in advance
for paid advertising Facebook requires a internal license called 'rmg' gridlaw.com has done a few clients for me 👍
Ryan, trust payments have emailed us saying VISA from 30th may will not be supporting competition sites, I'm not sure whether we need to move payment gateways or if you have any suggestions?

Does all this still go through Total Processing or directly through Trust Payments?
I’m having real issues with Total Processing at the moment 😢
This is for trust payments, total processing is a different company.
Fill in the contact form in the first link and get setup with them, as the gateway is hosted on their servers the service works very well!
@@gfni brilliant, Andrew at Trust Payments is a good spud, but I’m loosing so many customers/ticket purchases due to Total Processing taking weeks/months to try and resolve issues…. I’ll need to read the fine print with Total though, I’m unsure if I can just use a different payment gateway
Did you move from trust payments to total processing? Or have you always been with total processing?
@@gfni always been with Trust Payments but when I first started the payment gateway was through Total Processing. Some sort of link between the 2 companies. It was Andrew that set it all up for me

Yeah Wix won't even let you accept payments at all for Competition websites, due to them being American and most likely against their terms of service.

How much are the fees for trust payment?
Hi Luca, Andrew from trust payments will tell you all that himself but they have been the cheapest I've found with no setup fees. Some gateways can charge £500+ just to setup!

Also, which solicitor do you recommend for the letter for facebook ads? I had a look online and I could find just two solicitors who know about this letter and both of them pretty expensive
