Even though I've been to Tokyo many times (my favorite city in the world), I still discover new places or learn from your videos! It's amazing how you both have so much energy while walking and exploring in such harmony! I enjoy your videos, especially the shopping parts 😊
I am Japanese, but through your video, the scenery that I am used to seeing in my everyday life looks incredibly fascinating. Please be careful in the hot weather.
Hello! We love it here. Always something to do and see in Tokyo. I'm glad you liked this video - and yes you also be careful of the heat! It's driving us pretty crazy :(
Japan absolutely owe you two a Japan Friendship Ambassador award🤣The country is so beautiful under your camera and I watched all your vlogs before planning my trip.
My wife and landed in to Tokyo this morning to celebrate her 40th Birthday. Your videos have formed our WHOLE trip. We would sit on a Sunday in Australia with a wine and watch them making notes. They are shot beautifully, the locations are excellent and your content is on point. Thank you so much!!!
Your videos are almost perfect , amazing cinematography , what I also like is, that you guys answer the comments, that shows gratitude and being a good and humble person .
Out of a million vlogs out there on CZcams, i love yours the best. You tell your stories delicately with the right amount of dialogue and carefully chosen music. Can’t wait for your next video!
You know what I wish they'd invent as a novelty souvenir that actually has practical application: a front door bell chime that plays the little melody from a Tokyo train station of your choice! I can't tell you how excited I would be to test them out in the store and buy the one that had the most powerfully Pavlovian affect on me. Nostalgia and joy every time I get a delivery package! I can picture myself so viscerally back in Tokyo whenever I hear the tinkly train station chimes! Whyyyyyy haven't they made these?! Is it just me and my husband that are odd in this way and yearn for train station chime door bells to be conceived and manufactured? Haha.
Truly loved this particular edition of your Tokyo Summer Guide - its like you guys got your mojo back as we really sense your joy, wonder and playfulness, things that have been sorely missing in most of your vlogs lately. 👏✌️💕
Happy to see you guys staying for longer days in Japan! 🇯🇵🙏😍 Can't wait to see more of your lifestyle trave vlogs every Monday 😍 I am drooling and laughing right now watching your vlogs Monday felt so complete watching your new vlogs! Thank you so much! 🇯🇵🙏😍
I love the vlog editing! After vlogging my Tokyo trip, I saw how hard it is to vlog while traveling. But you both show it in such a beautiful and relaxing way!! So inspiring!🥰
as someone who is moving to japan next september for univeristy, this video is so useful!! so many little gems that I can't wait to check out. thank you!
That was such a great vlog. So interesting to see all the fantstic shops you went into, and all the amazing food and resturants, and coffee places you went to. We have nothing like that in Melbourne. Can't wait to watch the next vlog you guys put up. You must be having such a great time.
I always enjoy watching your Japan videos. I used to live in the metro Tokyo area for about 20 years, but I still have so many cities, towns, restaurants, coffee shops......that I don't know and want to explore (fyi I currently live in Vancouver). Looking forward to future Japan videos to come!
こんにちは!from Japan🇯🇵 2week ago,I visited Hong Kong for the first time in a year. I went to a lot of the places you introduced me to. It was a very productive trip. Hong Kong is my favourite place. I look forward to more videos from you🫶🏻🇭🇰
The next place I'd love to go (introduced to me so beautifully by this channel too) is Chiang Mai. Their video of them eating their dinner right next to the wild elephants was so stunning. Beautiful hotels, really cool design-led artisanal coffee shops and great retro vintage style Thai diners to get simple cheap (and probably delicious) authentic food. I'm already researching Thailand and Singapore as my next far East Asian destinations, ha. Such a great channel.
Hi guys! Just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your great videos. Watched this last night and I must say it was very enjoyable to watch and I really enjoyed it. I may never make it to Japan but loved seeing it up close. You must be having so much fun there and glad you get to spend such a nice summer there! Thanks again and God Bless!
Hi Sam and Victor, I really like your vlogs, the editing, the sounds; everything is so on point! I will go to Tokyo this December and will definitely go to some of the places mentioned in your vlogs ☺love from Thailand 🫶
A few more weeks in Tokyo?! WOW! I'm so excited to think of your upcoming vlogs. Just got home from work, happy about the hot flaky pastry and coffee in front of me and now I see a new upload! Exactly what I feel like doing right now. JOY! 📺☕🥐 Your Ueno apartment has a kitchen so hopefully you'll be going to farmers markets and fancy delis/supermarkets for cooking stuff, showing us what's in the hidden grocery stores and fancy food places (regional rice speciality stores? Condiments, fresh vegetables, tofu etc. I'm so excited to see what you guys have planned. I thumbs up your videos before watching. One of the only channels that inspires such a rapid reaction, such is my loyalty, ha!
Tokyo was our favourite city to visit for past 12yrs. It has change a lot post covid. Lost its authenticity. Doesn’t feel the same anymore. Is like how Toyosu sucks so much compared to the Old Tsukiji Market which was so wonderful and outer Tsukiji market is becoming a huge tourist trap
tokyo is just too big and has too many parts. if you feel a neighborhood has lost its authenticity, it's real easy to find ten other "authentic" tokyo neighborhoods that tourists have never even set foot on really
Omg, I ate so many of those Ohayo Brulee ice creams when I was in Japan. I offer two tips: #1. Let it get a bit melty before eating so the ice cream is more like a brulee consistency. #2. Buy two because a single serving is too small. 😊
Such a nice vlog as usual 😊 You guys got to go to Kielo coffee too!! It was such a cute little shop from the outside with great coffee. We're reliving our Japan trip with your video today! Hope to see more common places that we had gone to in the springtime😃!!!!
I really enjoy the laid back style of your videos. It's amazing considering how much coffee you both drink! :) I'm coming back to Tokyo in September, staying until after New Years. I bought a house in Koenji - and it also has a lot of vintage shops and cafes (like Shimokita)
Especially loved this latest vlog by you guys🥰! For taking us around the lesser known/shown parts of Tokyo like Ueno, Aoyama etc - that was super fun and interesting to watch! Please take us more to places like those, instead of the usual too well known and touristy spots which seems to be saturating other travel vlogs on CZcams 🤪! Your love for Japan shines through with your vlogs which is why you two are an absolute joy to watch 😊!
The temperature is high during this season, and evening showers and sudden downpours are common, so we recommend bringing a compact folding umbrella with you when you go out.
Your work is always so aesthetic and inspiring with a touch of story telling. You guys also have warmth, honesty and a great sense of humor. Thanks for all the great videos. Sam, love your Salsa/Tomato/Pomedoro t-shirt! Where can I get it? Love how you styled it too! ❤🍅❤
Sam and Victor, I always watch your videos and its inspiring and just perfect. Keep uploading as you make my day when I want such a simple and elegant channel. All the love from Qatar.
I usually don't leave comments on CZcams in general, but just wanted to say that you guys are so cool having impeccable tastes on literally everything. I've been away from home for nearly two years and just watching this video made me feel so relaxed and as if I was back home ☺ Look forward to watching more of your videos and visiting all these cool places when I return!
Was saving this vid for when i could watch and savor it. Love the way you film. Really makes me want to rent a place in Japan for a month to enjoy it slowly. Like you said - being able to see things you wouldn’t notice when on a shorter trip. Another great video with great recommendations - thank you!
I'm looking forward to your Tokyo vlog. I'm especially excited for your tips on cafes and restaurants! Thank you! I'm Japanese and I live in Tokyo. 😂 You know more than me!❤
I will regret watching this vlog without a snack. I am on IF and so restraint is key but it's a Japan vlog and by Sam & Victor and so help me God! Lol. Capping off a hectic Monday with your slow vlog. Fabulous! 🎉❤😊
Wow you guys must be staying very close to where we stayed near Ueno. Super convenient with the multilevel supermarket and cosmetics store next to the cute park and cafe. There’s an amazing yakitori/motsunabe place called Daitoryo which has no English but is frequented by locals nearby. Best yakitori I’ve ever had-we still dream of the liver skewers haha! Enjoy!
I am.alwez waiting urs video ,urs videos make my mind calm , i alwz grab cofee and play in big screen n watch comfortably, not in rush , love from uk ❤
ohhhhhh i would like to buy cameras there somedayyy i hope you make same separate videos about it. i'm so inlove how you guys edit your videos, the angles and also a camera freak!!
OMG! I had so much fun and I wasn’t even there! Lol. You captured the essence of the local life mixed with some tourism. I just love all of your vlogs! You could represent a travel agency or tourism group. Can’t wait for the next vlog! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌟🌟😎🥰
Hello from Thailand, I'm addicted to your channel so much. Love your content and video mood, so chill and relax to watch. I'm also Japan lover as I studied abroad in Japan in the past. But I am afraid of offending you guys during having breakfast. I was really wanna tell you that I'm a huge fan of your clips. And I will support your channel either way. ❤
Your trips always look so comfortable and just, overall so well put together! Do you plan the trips in some specific order? Booking hotels first, or transportation, etc... Amazing video!
I was sad, I was in Japan for the past three weeks and was hoping to run into you two since I literally watched your youtube videos for the past month prepping for Japan lol! You two are awesome, keep up the cool videos! I felt like I was living through your life everytime I entered a coffee shop lol! Hope to run into you two during December in next Japan trip!

Hello, I can’t believe that Sam and Victor are coming to Ueno and Asakusabashi! These are the areas I frequently visit. I often buy or look at clothes at Hinoya and America-ya. Hi Sam! Just catching up on your Japan vlogs and they're so comforting to watch, thank you for that❤️ Just watched the lantern on the pond at the Ueno Park and I am enchanted. Also want to know the secret about how to know when and where something is happening 😅
Adding yet a number of coffee shops in my Tokyo cafe list! You can check Cafe L'ambre and Ginza Tricolore in Ginza if you haven't been there. Thanks Victor and Sam.
Are you planning on coming to Japan? 🇯🇵
Yas! Christmas time I hope. your Fukuoka video specifically inspired me ❤
@@keigisa Omg Fukuoka has a TON of good food!! You're going to love it :)
Yes, actually, today I'll be there. However, JR line has a serious accident, thus I can not go there today....😢😢
Yesssss! Went to Osaka last spring (when will you guys go to the Kansai region?) and plotting to go to Fukuoka! 😊
No
Honestly Japan should sponsor your guys videos at this point. You both show Japan in such a beautiful, intimate & captivating way!
Awwww thanks so much!! And thanks for tuning in so early :)

Awwww! Haha that award sounds fun !!
Any Country is under their camera, i think.

My fav way to relax now - watching your videos. Digging the Wes Anderson vibe.
Haha thanks so much! Glad you like the Wes Anderson vibe ;)
“He a Fan, He a Fan“ part was so funny 😂 This vlog really felt like you two were locals there and introducing us to the neighborhood ☺️✨🙌🏼

That would be a dream come true 🥺
Hello from Thailand, I'm addicted to your channel so much. Love your content and video mood, so chill and relax to watch.
I'm also Japan lover as I studied abroad in Japan in the past.
Now I'm travelling in Japan also. And Today (26-Jul) I accidentally met you guys in Japanese restaurant at Sensoji Asakusa, so I was very happy and surprise. But I am afraid of offending you guys during having breakfast. I was really wanna tell you that I'm a huge fan of your clips. And I will support your channel either way. ❤
lanters ih the shinobazu pond were so scenic. thank you for this hour long video!!
Your trips always look so comfortable and just, overall so well put together! Do you plan the trips in some specific order? Booking hotels first, or transportation, etc...

Thank you for visiting Japan and filming very beautifully❤️🔥
I really like watching this video because it reminds me proudness as Japanese😊
We went to Ueno park when we were in Tokyo back in April. We actually just stumbled into it. We loved it. There was a random music/food festival in the park which was amazing to go to. The lotus didn't look nearly as gorgeous as they looked in your video, though.
always love your vlog ! 53:41 is not enough for me, haha. waiting for your next video. xoxo
Don Don is my fave yakiniku place on Japan.. discovered it in Osaka.. yummm🤤
We have such similar taste. (I lived there in the 90s) You have to revisit Nogi Jinjya when the lighting is good. It's gets even better :) Surprised you haven't featured Nakameguro area yet
We visited this week! Love nakameguro area :)
You two are a vibe!
so beautiful, you guys perfectly captured the things i love about this amazing city. thank you.

Even 1 hour video feels short! I love watching your vlogs! I hope to watch Europe + central Asian countries too 😅
Welcome back to Tokyo 😊I like your video so much ❤
Hello, I can’t believe that Sam and Victor are coming to Ueno and Asakusabashi! These are the areas I frequently visit. I often buy or look at clothes at Hinoya and America-ya. Near Akihabara, there are traditional soba restaurants Kanda Matuya, sweet shops Takemura, and a famous 70’s cake shop Omiya. I highly recommend them. I couldn’t believe seeing the name “Hanatare”. A one hour video?!?! What a treat!!
Therapeutic and informative vid!
Gyukatsu Motomura is literally one of my favorite food in Japan that I'd rate it above anything under 10K yen.
Just came back to Hong Kong from Switzerland. Saw Sam’s photo taken in West Kowloon plastered in Tsim Sha Tsui! ❤️
Summer in Tokyo is a killer!!! I was there for a job interview this time last year. Phwoar. A suit in 40c heat and 2,000,000 % humidity.
new subscriber!🫧
i’ve been trying to compile a future itinerary for my bf and i’s future trip to japan (our dream trip!) and i came across your guys’ channel after watching your kawagoe vlog! i love the tips & tricks a lot and it’s definitely motivating me to organize a game plan even though this trip will be in the future :))
also not related to the video, but sam literally looks like a walking painting :**)
i can’t wait to see your future vlogs living in japan for a month!! i hope i get to have this long of a trip someday🥹
I recommend the seafood bowl at Yoshike Restaurant in Ueno (Yoshike is a supermarket specializing in fish and has a restaurant on the top floor)❤️🐟
Gosh I love Japan. Will be my 5th time in November. This was a great video
Hi Sam! Just catching up on your Japan vlogs and they're so comforting to watch, thank you for that❤️ Just watched the lantern on the pond at the Ueno Park and I am enchanted. Also want to know the secret about how to know when and where something is happening 😅
I found it by chance actually while browsing timeout!
Adding yet a number of coffee shops in my Tokyo cafe list!
You can check Cafe L'ambre and Ginza Tricolore in Ginza if you haven't been there.
Thanks Victor and Sam.
