Super cute. Love the size. To keep the curly ends, do not touch your ends on the retwist/retie. Only retwist/retie the roots.i have locs now and want the boho look so I only do the roots.

First thing when I came here I thought oh she lost in curly hands cuz that's a lot to mess with. Plus I think blunt ends look better anyway especially as I get longer

Just got my starter locs on 4/20, girl I was so worried because they were so small and not the size in the pic that I showed her 😭, I knew my texture was not the same but she was not tryna understand what I was telling her, my starters are exactly ur size when u started and seeing your hair now has completely erased my fears ❤️❤️
Greetings Ms. Lynn as commented my hair density, length etc is very similar to yours. I just started my two strand twists yday Apr22nd2024, installed them myself using the Ecoslay Jelly Gel for the install. Will be purchasing Rosewater as said we are to grow our hair as growing a plant and/or flower-water inside/out. Thank you for sharing your journey with the same hair texture. Thank you! I think this was NYX praline OR cinnamon roll butter gloss that I was wearing for this video❤️ I usually would wear one or the other. They look amazing on brown skin tones🙌🏾 I don’t outline my lips so it’s just the one gloss
Did you find that the color gave your hair a different texture that helped the process along. I'm 7mths in and just colored my gray with a semi permanent color and my texture changed a bit.
I’d been box coloring my hair since before locs and I can say that when I was a loose natural it for sure gave my hair a stronger? texture it felt like..for sure what seemed to help my locs along with forming was frequent washing (at least once a week) in the beginning stages..my locticians were against it but I just couldn’t do without for long stretches. 😅
I have starter locs and I think I made a mistake instead of using salt water to mist my fine type 3 hair I used organic rose water and then another day regular water now my hair feels softer looser and more fragile then before and my curls are more pronounced but that was not the goal I heard water makes them loc faster and it’s good to keep them moisturized but maybe those tips were not for the starter loc phase thank god I didn’t mix the aloe Vera juice with it lol smh 🤦🏽♀️ now I’m trying to figure out how to fix it 😩 any advice? My next wash and retwist is not until the end of the month. Idky I had the notion that salt water would damage my hair 🤷🏽♀️
I’m not sure exactly..yes, from what I’ve experienced the wetting my hair helped them loc a lot faster..do you have a detangling agent that’s on your hair as well? I wish I had tips but the washes/wetting my hair every day or every other day helped me. I hope you can find out what is causing the opposite outcome! Let me know what you find if anything!
